Topic: Pisces is affected?

I'm ruled by Uranus and very, very individualistic, and can't help but be annoyed by Pisces. I just feel like they're really pretentious. A large group of popular people on this other website I'm active on are Pisces. They're trendy and have no true sense of self, seemingly. I get greatly annoyed by their behavior and then their positive attention for it. In that community, though, I can't talk about astrology because no one would understand what I'm talking about. Like, the musician Grimes who's grown tremendously in popularity was born on March 17th and she seems very chameleon-like and would do almost anything for popularity and has no moral framework. This is how I feel about a majority of the Pisces I come across, because that's how they act. I also feel that, possibly, the only foundation they do have is to be popular. I think they use people to reach a pretentious goal they've set for themselves.Also! I need advice as to how to stop thinking about this. Like, really, their pretension evokes anger in me. I spend so much time thinking about my opinions and the injustices in the world and Pisces always seem like a problem to me. IP: Logged |

You do know that behind a persons' sign is an actual human being who grew up in a society that is different than yours right? People aren't the same and all pisces aren't the same. Stop taking this horoscope thing too seriously and think about the actual people(who happen to be pisces) that you're surrounding yourself by. I do understand what you're saying though, I feel that libras are pretentious and I never got along with a libra(b4 him) in my life yet the one person I fell for and who still has a special place in my heart was a libra. It happens. I don't think you should be saying something like this "I spend so much time thinking about my opinions and the injustices in the world and Pisces always seem like a problem to me." I mean look, there are two sides to everything. Maybe you're also part of why you can't along with them. Or maybe the people around you are really as pretensious and if that's the case, just cut them out. You're an aquarius, you really should have no problem doing that.

These threads never end well. Someone always gets offended. Anyway, there must be something in your chart that isn't Pisces-friendly. Pisces and aqua aren't the best match. Where is your mars? When communities are overrun with a certain sign, they band together and annoy everyone else. I was on a site where the majority was sag, and everyone got so annoyed with us lol. IP: Logged |

Yes! Like, I've noticed that a lot of Pisces are also into stuff like astrology, and other things that aren't socially common.  And I thought it was obvious that I was just stereotyping and not categorizing every Pisces under that description! My Mars is in Capricorn, and conjuncts with my Sun, Neptune, and Uranus. Pisces is actually a widely loved sign. These people are usually very popular because they're generally likable and sweet
People can't help but to take care of them theres a vulnerability and openness to them.Not all pisces are hipsters, they're hipsters in all signs. Honestly theres nothing unique about dressing differently
I knew quite a lot of cheerleaders and athletes which were pisces. Also venus exalted in pisces, a lot of pisces have this placement so that also contributes to their popularity because of all the Venusian energy IP: Logged |

I understand why they're popular! I feel it's because they can appeal to anyone and anything! That's why I called them chameleon-like; they blend into their surroundings by changing who they are in order to be popular and fit in. And I don't think they're necessarily dressing differently, quite the opposite actually; I think they try hard to fit into new cliques by following their trends. It's weird- my experience with Pisces has been soooo different. The Pisces people in my life are the druggie musician-types.

No, I don't. I know there's plenty of people who don't feel the need to be trendy. There's a problem with society, though, and it pushes this behavior but it's really very negative and people shouldn't get away with not having anything genuine about them, and especially shouldn't receive praise for it. Their sensitivity doesn't seem very genuine, and seems more superficial. I don't meet many humanitarian Pisces, and I see more Pisces caring only about their lives and the lives of their closer contacts. I'm sure they care very deeply about what other think of them, otherwise they wouldn't try so hard to fit in, but I don't think you'd really call them sensitive in general since they don't even seem that nice. I know this Pisces man; I think he's not as bad as the others, and I have a friend who's an Aquarius/Pisces cusp and she's very easy to talk to! I think if you get a better understanding of psychology you'll understand human nature and why people behave the way they do.
Not everyone will have the same beliefs as you and that does not mean they're terrible people.

Pisces definitely are very sensitive (at least, the ones I know... and also according to any astrology book out there). They might care what others think of them because they're really in tune with the feelings of others. They're said to be the only sign capable of unconditional love, and are very compassionate. The Pisces men I know cannot stand seeing anyone upset or sad because they literally *feel* their pain. I don't have a hint of Pisces in me, but my Sun is in my 12th house, and my Neptune is in my 1st house, so I'm Pisces-like in that way. No, I don't have a good sense of my own identity, because the Neptune/12th house influences blurs things. I think all mutable signs are chameleon-like. Sag, Gems, Virgos, and Pisces are really adaptable to changing people and situations. IP: Logged |

There is a age old adage:"What I dont like about you, I dont like about me....." Please dont sterotype one sign. You may ask approptiate questions re a sun sign, but to assume all of a particular sun sign behave the same way is incorrect. You are dealing with 1/12 of the earth population! At 19, you have alot of learning to do about people in general. You may have been told you have the emotions of a 40 year old, but it takes earth years, experience and wisdom...to truely know your fellow travelers. This Pisces at neraly 51 spends 36 hours a week, giving my blood sweat and tears to my ICU patients, taking their pain and the pain of their families, and often making it my own. I feel for everbody and everything around me and THIS is a very difficult cross to bear~ I am quite the Aquarian-colored Pisces~ blessins terri~ IP: Logged |

I listed two Pisces that I liked, and I admitted to being stereotypical which I thought was saying that I don't believe every Pisces is like that. And, I said emotions of a fourteen year old ; way different than forty. IP: Logged |
