Recently I've made a Pisces Sun mate and though I've known him through the years, it is only now that we have become properly acquainted.

We go out partying on the weekend and spend a great deal of the week talking.

The one thing I've noticed though, with our friendship, is how sometimes, no matter how subtle, things don't quite "gel" completely.

I knew from the get go that he had a moon in a feminine sign, but he was very cagey about his age and birthday as he said that those things were "too personal"....

Anyways, lately he has been feeling a lot more generous with personal details and gave me his date of birth.

Immediately I knew, just based on the time that I spent with him, that his Moon was either in Capricorn or Scorpio. But my stronger bet was Capricorn as, when he talks, its like its an effort; like he has the whole world on his shoulders(and certainly, given the nature of his life, he does).

Anwyho, I've always said that getting on with Capricorn moons for me was a challenge. Given that my Moon is opposing theirs, I've always felt an uncomfortable heavy energy with lunar Saturns that, no matter how friendly we were, would rear its ugly head through a "cold" word being said or some "reckless" remark that would def hurt my feelings. And this one is no different.

But what makes him a lot more endearing to me is how emotionally vulnerable and sensitive he can get. Yes, he does have the Capricorn "no nonsense" thang happening, but there is also a very clear vulnerability I feel when with him.

Sure enough, when I checked his chart, his Moon forms a conjunction with Neptune.Yes, the Saturn /Pluto contacts by sextile do re-enforce the whole "seriousness" that he exudes when relating with him, but there is a surprising depth and vulnerability that is also there tenfold.

Sometimes he gets impatient with me coz he says I have the attention span of a 6 year old. Yes, I do have Mercury and Mars making very close and harsh aspects to my Moon and I do get very fidgety. But , I do listen intently to what he says and empathize a great deal with his current life.

I don't know how long this friendship will last as his life is prone to some radical and unpredictable changes(I also noted that he has Uranus square his Sun) and I also have Neptune sitting on top of my Sun; and that can have a "see me once and never again effect" too.

But my point is, i never took aspects to planets seriously until recently. Yes, a Moon in Cancer for instance, does retain much of the crabby-ness, motherly instinct nature that they are renowned for, but if you add Saturn and Pluto there, you can be sure that this Cancer is no "sulking" type. However, in the case that Venus/Jupiter makes aspects, that Cancer Moon is a delight and quintessential "nice guy".

Don't read the sign the planet is in only, take the aspects into account. They definitely add an interesting mix to the individual. I am witness to that....
