I've noticed it A LOT in men with strong Capricorn placements although everyone argues that this is not a Capricorn trait.

I also notice women with Moon in Gemini tend to do they same thing, never really knowing what they want from their partner.

I run hot and cold all.the.time.
There's no way my affections can remain stable; but weird thing is that it's very recent for me (so maybe it's a transit thing). Prior to that, I used to be very focused on only one person, bordering on obsession.

Gemini rising sq Virgo Moon.

I think Gemini is famous for running hot & cold. Also, mutable placements in general (Pisces, Sag especially).

And I don't even have a prominent Uranus.

To be honest, I do enjoy playing games just for the thrill of it. I'll send mixed signals to several individuals and not let them know if I'm being serious or not. It's never too serious though, always in good fun. I think most people realise that I'm just flighty and like to flirt. Also, I don't always do it on purpose. Very often what happens is that I (think I) like someone one day so I'll show interest and then a few days later it's not the same anymore so I'll just stop showing much interest. I'm not very proud of that cause I know some people can get confused by my behaviour but oh well.

I'm both (1) a Capricorn Man, and (2) Gemini Moon.

I don't know the last time I've run Hot-Cold. I run Cold most of the time because of high standards and run Hot when I'm ready. I'm not commitment phobic. In fact, I'm the reverse.

I am commitment-phobic so that's probably why I can't get super focused on someone. I need my space and can't take it when people get too serious with me.

I made a thread (a really long time ago)... with quotes I found from different people complaining about every single sign - usually about this hot/cold thing.

And I also added positive quotes about every sign..

Often that is not allowed or appropriate. Or I get tired or embarrassed and question myself for being so intense. So I just joke around. Cold.
