I look like my Dad and he has Libra or Scorpio rising I believe, Aquarius sun, Cancer moon. I'm Gemini ASC, Aries sun, Taurus moon. Exalted: said of a planet in its strongest, most creative sign placement: the sign of its Exaltation. Here it can express its energy in its highest, most positive form. The Sun is Exalted in Aries, the Moon in Taurus, Mercury in Aquarius, Venus in Pisces, Mars in Capricorn, Jupiter in Cancer, and Saturn in Libra. ^Exalted planets don't mean too too much. Interpretation-wise, you don't necessarily have an "extra Aries" Apollo. Think the sign's expression fits well with the planet's energy. Apollo in Leo is a strong position, but so is Apollo in Aries, 'cause Apollo's main traits are life and expression - both very Leonine but also Arien, just a little bit less so. Basically your exalted planets can express themselves well, and that strengthens them compared to an undignified planet.Apollo in Aries is Apollo in Aries, but the sign and planet are better aligned (similar traits) than, say, Apollo in Pisces. Exalted is just the placement in the exaltation but this is a wonderful place for it and it has one of the best flows and workings of the planet.
