For example: Me!I don't like many guys, but when I do, it's absolutely over the top ridiculous. Perhaps because I am usually so aloof, but this time, I've been really hit over the head. Well actually I've been hit over the head repeatedly and now I am paying attention! And now I'm like, really? Again? Now, being attracted to someone is not necessarily a problem--unless you are like me and want them a bit TOO much! It's actually borderline painful because I have a hard time dealing with feeling this way! So, what aspects do you think influence people to get really hung up on people? Water placements? Venus/Mercury aspects? For now I am blaming my mars conjunct pluto in scorpio in the 5th house......yes. That seems about right! Anyone experience this with friends? Family or in relationships?  I have Pluto in the 5th house conjunct my Vertex and opposing my Moon in Taurus, 11H. When I like someone it is not just "like." It's not just "play it cool" and see where it goes. NO. It's pretty much Fatal Attraction except I can control my stalking tendencies and bunny boiling habits. My Mars is also inconjunct my Pluto too. I basically tend to fall in love with my crushes before anything even happens. I've gotten better about controlling my feelings over time but that's not to say I don't feel crazy for having them. Hahaha, I know how you feel.
I have Moon conj Pluto in 3rd House Scorpio opposing my Taurus Sun (and other planets). I blame it on Pluto!!IP: Logged |

It's pretty amazing. I also have mars and pluto in the 5th (not conjunct though) and I do the same. I don't get attracted to guys easily. I can find them handsome, sexy and all.. but it's just "eye candy". But when one really catches my eye. Because of how he talks or moves or anything else, I'm this close to be head over heels. The one time I was in love, I was very obsessed and head over heels and couldn't get it out of my mind. It was pretty much a fatal attraction to me and it was made worse by the fact that I couldn't have him. And I had never dated the guy. Maybe it's a good thing that I have so much cap and an aqua venus in the end. It cools me down. IP: Logged |

I think this could also be Mercury in a negative aspect to Pluto. Seems like that would bring up obsessive thoughts, but there would probably also have to be a connection to the Moon or Venus to bring the emotional side to it.IP: Logged |

I think people just fall into crushes the same way they might fall into quicksand. Synastry just takes hold.Sometimes this leads to super awkward situations. I have Venus conjunct Neptune, trine Jupiter, trine my ASC, and basically I don't talk to men in real life. There's too much potential for things to get weird. Pluto, Mars, Jupiter and Vertex in 5th as well as Neptune and Uranus in 7th. This fits me perfectly lol 
I attribute this to my 5th house scorpio mars and pluto , and also my neptune in my 7th house
