It's possible to be ruled by a planet other than the default ruling planet of your sign? Like, an Aquarius isn't necessarily ruled by Uranus?Someone tonight said I could be ruled by Pluto. Like, I guess I have a lot of aspects related to Pluto: Pluto in the Fourth House 4th house

No, aqua is ruled by Uranus.
You can be An Aquarius who's Plutonian. Or Pluto dominant. But that doesn't mean Pluto rules aquarius. Uranus still will rule aquaIP: Logged |

In Mapping the Psyche, Clare Martin suggests the ruler of your ascendant is the ruler of your chart. For example, my ascendant is in Taurus, therefore my chart is ruled by Venus. My Sun is in Taurus so it is ruled by Venus as well. According to this theory, Uranus/Saturn rule your Sun. I agree that a planet with many aspects will result in dominance. For instance, I have eight lunar aspects, therefore I am lunar or Moon dominant. However, these lunar qualities are being expressed through a Venusian filter. Make sense?IP: Logged |
