I can't be sure the significance between Sun and Moon between the genders for certain... but, I would reckon that it has to do with "where" the woman's emotions come from and how she "expresses" them, compared to "where" and how he would "express" them in this medium... not saying men cannot or do not draw from their emotional perceptions and create through touching on those.... certainly not... or that women only use sensitive emotions, and this realm to communicate musically and no other... no... not that... but the sun, is within the self, the core of a person... and, perhaps the sun better brings out those experiences and experience comes firstly to a gentleman musician, then, the emotional/imaginative/creative... but, for a woman, she will draw from herself, her feminine creative, intuitive, and emotional womb when participating in musical fields... in the same way, with singers, Venus, Uranus, Neptune, and Mercury (Moon/Sun) are usually well positioned within "strong vocal" signs, houses, aspect... ^^; just a thought~ not certain* <3 IP: Logged

I thought i was just seeing things in these charts. i was looking for patterns among my more successful friends in the music industry compared to the ones who are still trying to make it and I found that sun/mercury and neptune were either conjunct each other or sun/mercury was trine neptune and uranus figured in strongly too... but with my more unsuccessful friends there was a hard aspect to pluto or neptune. this is all so interesting. I have sun/mercury conjunctions and Moon Trine Neptune and i do make my own electronic music =] melody's just come to my head and i just make it XD. I wish i was a Kpop Boy Band member tho HAHA! Im okay at singing on a good day, I have a nice talking voice so thats probably why. I sucked at the recorder in elementary school and that just turned me off to playing music, It was really embarrassing. I tried tol learn the piano and I was really bad at it lol. I like listening to music obviously, but I don't understand the mechanics. My music major friends look at me like I look at my non creative friends. Feels bad man.. What makes people suck at playing instruments etc? Anyways I have sun conjunct mercury and venus, so sorry op lol I have moon conjunct venus and mercury too so that theory is flop. I know moon in 5th or 10th house are musically inclined, atleast their singing voices. IP: Logged

Most of my friends are in music, which amazes me. I mean I get the physics... but how you come about making music boggles my mind. I have a moon/mars/venus conjunction in pisces square neptune and my mars/venus sextile mercury. I can paint, write and act... but music... I just can't even imagine where one would begin... lol IP: Logged
