Yeah, he's okay, but I'd prefer a different male lead for Zooey. He's kind of average. I get what you mean by a 'beta male'. He'd make a good buddy, but he wouldn't excite me in other ways. Zooey (annoying or not), on the other hand, is a stunner. I'd want to see a more 'alpha male' type for her. I know the show is doing a big build up between Jess and Nick, like they're eventually going to fall in love. That's not what I watch the show for. IP: Logged |

I'm interested in Schmidt's Virgo placements, actually Virgo Moon, perhaps? He's so particular about keeping things in order, hates mess, enjoys cooking. I even think this whole weight loss story is SO about Virgo meticulosity. Leo Sun, I agree here. A fiery Mercury, seeing how straightforward he is, the way he chased Cece when she left and how he went about it. Aries perhaps. Not Sagi though, those love mess. And a fiery Mars perhaps as well.

Nick is the funny one. Don't remember when approx his birthday is, but he acts like a Cancer a lot. Lots of whining/self-pity. His Venus is a tricky one. He seems to dig femme fatales, so that's Scorpio. But then Jess seems like she's the right one to satisfy his emotional needs. I'd assume Venus square/opposite Mars? Desires and emotional needs clashing? Mars in Scorpio square Venus in Taurus, maybe? -----------------------------
Interesting about Cece and Capricorn. That's quite true, she might have Venus in there. Or in an Earth Sign. Plus some fiery Mars or other for the sex drive. IP: Logged |

oh and just realised Zooey Deschanel is detrimental to society because she contributes to the illusion that Capricorns are cool. Whereas you take a cool cap s chart and find out their coolness comes from anywhere but the sun sign. I had to say thisIP: Logged |

He's a homebody, terrified of change, whiney, emotional, ....he's not twisted enough to be a scorpio and not compassionate enough to be a pisces. lolI agree with everything being said about Schmidt, except he's def not a Virgo moon...he may obsess but not in the same ways as I do. I'd say Virgo venus and mars and I agree with Leo sun, Aries mercury, and I'm not sure about moon...maybe Taurus to explain the food issues.

I'm behind on the seasons (#3 just got added to Netflix, yay!) but Schmidt just professed he's a Sagittarius on the show, although he's a Virgo in real life.Nick in the show is a Capricorn to me, or a Scorpio (Scorpio - afraid of change because it's fixed and emotional and brooding. Capricorn, also brooding but prefers to stonewall people instead of revealing how they feel.) Jess is actually a dead ringer for my real life friend Jess. I mean, right down to the glitter and breaking for birds. rL friend is a Scorpio quad, but I could see New Girl Jess maybe being a Gemini or an Aquarius because she loves groups and gets along with everyone. Winston is straight up weird but he rarely yells to get his point across like Nick does, Schmidst also never yells. Winston is sensitive and ethical, but can be controlling (the Bell Team episode, anyone?) I would actually peg him more for a Sag than anything. IP: Logged |
