At what point does everyone ask their date for their date of birth and EXACT time?! If I don't ask them the first time we meet, I would probably burst, so I go ahead and do it anyway, risking it all. IP: Logged |

I be sneaky and look at their social networking profiles or IM profiles for the D.O.B then try to figure out their rising by looking at their pictures lol Or I say "I'm an Astrologer! I look at natal charts" hoping they'll ask me if I can look at theirs I'm never up front IP: Logged |

And then by the time we started dating, I knew that he was someone who wouldn't mind if I asked. Then I saw that he had a Sun Sign book in his condo, and I whipped out Astro.com and explained what I could see about his chart.(And then did a synastry later - Mwa ha ha again ) Edited to add: Orange's strategy is made of awesome, though. I've never been successful asking in a roundabout way. I'm definitely going to try your technique, Orange!I could never quite ask one of my exes because I was too scared he'd think I was a weirdo. All my other guys have been asked right away: "I'm into astrology- what's your birth info? Tell me!!!!" Most of them were very compliant. IP: Logged |

i always ask during first date/meeting .. i usually just ask 'how old are you again?' and get their answer, then follow with oh... my nephew/cousin/dad/friend just had their 21st birthday too. when was yours? and... are you originally from around here? oh, where are you from? i use the city they claim as the childhood one for place of birth. most people give the info up easily as long as they don't think you're fishingIP: Logged |

I've done that before.. Make up an interesting story about your birthday. Ask them if they had any experience then just ask them what day they were born. Also say the other day I was digging through my box and say that you had no idea they recorded birth times. He'll probably giggle at you then you runs circles around them and ask them their birth time basically. Okay now that you found out you better be really interesting and fun because you probably did bore them with that whole scenario... The key is fluidity in a conversation then you can ask them occasionally. Asking them upfront maybe a little weird or too interviewie IP: Logged |

Actually, I don't care what he thought, as long as I have my hands on his DOB so I could spend the rest of the evening abusing his chart.
first convo i slip it on immediately. it's time of birth i have a hard time asking lol! IP: Logged |

Exact time later on, DOB....hmm it depends. But not the first day cos to me it seems stalkerish & I'd rather keep stalker tendencies hidden for a while so they don't seem as bad ~ Sometimes w.the DOB I joke around with the way they look or the way I look and get us to compare drivers license pics. then quick scan it for info It really depends on how I feel around the person what I end up doing I'm at the point where seeing a birthday calender is exhilarating "but to run a criminal background check!" ---That's prob smarter than looking at a chart......hmm guess i could do that one too sometimes IP: Logged |

the whole meeting would be ruined for me if I didnt get the full info. I have a Mercury/Pluto exact conjunction, so the whole damn chart would be dissected to bits and pieces before I go about and talk to them again.IP: Logged |

You know what I get more as I'm getting older? Guys lying about their age. Not always but often enough either they're older and they want me to think they're closer to my age, or they're younger and they want me to think they're closer to my age. Gah. I thought only insecure women pulled that crap.IP: Logged |

TBH, to me I'd probably not give DOB/time/town at first simply b/c that is prime material for ID fraud.Down the road, sure, or just email a pic of my chart with that info blacked out. maybe paranoid, maybe not. IP: Logged |

Lonake I went out on a date with this girl and she thought I was the same age as her and I was only 2 years younger. When she found out she was like I FEEL SOOO OLD, IM LIKE AN AUNTY.... Im like gurrrrrl you're only 21.. wtf. Anyways she was whacked. If I really liked a girl and she was older then me I would be paranoid too. IP: Logged |

I'm just like "do you follow astrology?" regardless of the answer I just ask away. DOB, time and place. All that. It doesn't freak ppl out. And if it does... They can lighten up a bit, which gives you a perfect reason to lighten the mood! Start joking around and stuff lol. If that doesn't catch their interest then I would start trying to annoy them. ------------------ Cancer Sun Gemini Moon Saggitarius ASC IP: Logged |

It's not super spectacular - (Sorry about how it may look - I'm doing this from my phone.) But our composite's fitting - He's a Gemini Sun, but has an 8H Saggie Moon conj Neptune and is quite spiritual. ------------------ If I've included this sig, it's because I'm posting from a mobile device. I'm gonna try the morning-evening person thing, sounds really sneaky and cool! I find birthdays through facebook, I usually pretend like I don't even know what my Sun Sign is, cause I believe most men think that this stuff is superficial.Have you guys noticed how many guys will say that they have a Scorpio ASC but they don't really know about signs, and that a friend found it for them? I believe that many times some men lie about their ASC being Scorpio because they think of all the sexy-passionate descriptions. IP: Logged |
