Have you ever had trouble standing up for yourself?
How did you get over it?

I have. I'm not sure there's an easy way to answer that, and I'm not on my own computer.

I know,it isn't easy to explain.

I just keep everything bottled up inside. My anger makes me sick. But whenever it gets to the point where I'm really upset and have to say something,my voice gets shaky,I tremble, and my thoughts get scattered.

But what I really hate is that I hold on to things for so long,I tend to flip out over small things. So it makes me look petty.

Ugh , Gemmy I tottaly feel you.. you just described me...i have Mars in Gemini but it's in the 12th house, so it's pretty much like Mars in Pisces. I feel exactly the way you described.

They deflect. Corner them and you'll find a rabid rabbit

That's true. I feel like that's what's gonna happen once I've had enough. But I really don't want it to get to that point.

i have pisces mars but in 10th house and really well aspected.

I definitely 'dwell' with my worries all too often.. I think the reason we can't confront that singular bothersome situation may because we really don't have any 'true' reason to be bothered.. We got all worked up, focused on this negative scenario, when in the BIG picture... does it even truly matter?

Maybe it's guilt we feel, for even dwelling so long.. and we can't speak well for ourselves because it was mostly feelings, emotions we focused on, not rationality.

I know other aspects have to be taken into consideration.

One of my sisters is also a pisces mars, and she has a really short temper. And she lets everyone know when she's mad.

May I ask what aspects your mars has?

@sharpei,I also like the emotions it brings. But it squares my sun, moon, mercury, and venus. So sometimes it's a little too much for me.

I have my Pisces mars in the 8th house.
When I am angered or frustrated I tend to "let it slide" (even though i'm boiling inside) I give people a lot of chances, but when you keep on picking at me, I will blow up in your face big lol. My Leo asc, Aries moon, and heated scorpio venus come out and i will stand up for myself. I didn't stand up for myself as a kid or teen, but now i will not let anyone get away with disrespecting me or my family.
I just felt foolish before when i would let people walk on me.

My Mars is in Pisces along with my Sun, Moon and Venus. When I was younger, my sensitivity always put me on the recieving end of bullies until 2003 when I deployed to Iraq in the military. I don't know what happened, but I knew that I went into deep reflection during warm evenings during sunset on top of the pyramid-like structure in the abandoned airfield. Something changed and I became more vocal in just speaking up for myself in a clear way to where there will be no mistake. I have Aries Rising with Mercury in Aquarius, so I think that's what it might be.
