We have Mercury turning retrograde today,it`s another three weeks of yet having to move backwards instead of forwards with communication. And in Pisces that`s like an oxymoron, seriously. Retrograde period from Feb 23rd-March 17th It`s going back and forth from my 7th and 8th house.I`m also annoyed that it`s stalling in the sign of Pisces as well. http://mikeythedailyspiral.blogspot.com/2013/02/mercury-retrograde-hold-my-calls.html IP: Logged |

No i meant it was like an oxymoron in some respects although it`s not one but sort of like it. When you think about it you got Mercury planet of communication going backwards changing how we communicate,in a sign that is so damn vague and hard to understand in terms of it.or it could just be redundant and my mind is fried. it`s official i`ve lost my mind. Um, yeah, that's redundancy. It's not an oxymoron--a contradiction. lol Anyways, Mercury in Pisces is poetic. I don't have that, but I can imagine those who do and enjoy this placement.

What does the Retro feel like for someone with a Pisces Mercury and/or heavy Mercury chart? Does it make communication difficult...I've been iffy with an Aqua male who has a Mercury in Pisces (he's talking to a girl...even though he will NEVER admit he is to me...we're exes). But still what do these things feel like? IP: Logged |

I can only respond to the Mercury Rx part, although mine's in Aquarius (but in the 12th house). With Rx, you deliberate a lot on how exactly to communicate. Everyday verbal communication can feel like shorthand compared to those of us with Mercury Rx, which is why those with Merc Rx communicate best in writing, for you have time to revise what you mean. Imagine speaking each day to someone like an essay. Doesn't sound normal, does it? That refined communication is why the written word is Rx's forte more than the spoken word. (Those without Rx who know someone with it Rx can say what it feels like on the receiving end, but not what goes on in the head of the Rx'er.)

Since I'm also an Aqua sun sign, I'll respond to this part. Without seeing his chart, I can only comment on his Aqua sun. Not knowing your ex and only guessing at this, Aquas tend to just talk to everyone, so if they're in a relationship (or just got out of one), that "talking" with someone else can seem like flirting to you, especially if he had his Merc in Rx (even though it's in Pisces). He may be unaware of how it's coming across to others, like you, so what you're seeing as him never admitting to it, he may not see it that way at all. Now, since his Merc is Rx, he may spend time thinking it over and eventually realize how his behavior came across to you, meanwhile you may think he's just finally fessing up about what he did. This might be the case, might. If so, welcome to Merc Rx! IP: Logged |

That's true...I didn't think of this. He's an Aqua Sun and this friend of his (that he just met mind you)...he won't tell me. Is visiting him. He says he doesn't want an obligation (I truly believe this too...honestly I think the famous Aqua first love theory applies to him. He really only wanted one person...his first love from HS). So I'm guessing as an Aqua Sun he can be interested in someone up until the point where he doesn't want a relationship. IP: Logged |

Well, it's not that Aquas don't want a relationship. It could just be that someone is more interested in a relationship with the Aqua Sun than they are with the other person. Aqua Suns can be fickle, but (speaking for myself) we like to feel out a relationship and see if we want to go further than a friendship. There's kind of a bungee cord effect--appearing all-in (to fell out the relationship), but if we feel it won't work out, we pull back (appearing cold) and remain just friends.

I have a loads of aspects to Mercury and it's also natally retro'd; I've noticed transiting rx is especially trying for me and from what I hear, transits right now are quite harsh. IP: Logged |

Everything's working fine over here, so far.Usually what happens during Mercury Rx for me is that I start thinking of people who are no longer in my life. Memories.. This time I'm feeling creative, not sure it's got anything to do with Mercury but I feel like I want to change my appearance; start a creative project or something. Mercury is my chart ruler, so.. it's quite significant.
Oh and, bumping into people who I used to be friends with, that happens too.. sometimes.

Obligation, how, in what way? (Keep in mind, definitions you may take for granted might not be the case to someone else) IP: Logged |
