while aries is just real and libra can be fake.
Libras can be just as selfish, although they will never let you think that about them.
The image of perfection and balance is important to them.
My parents have strong libra placements, I lived with that for 19 years lol

Aries/Libra --- similarities: strong minded, they do not shy away from stating their opinions, they generally know what they want and are assertive, friendly towards most people, generally talkative, original in some way... they both seem to stand out through the way they dress and their personal style. --- differences: libra is much more polite and tries very hard to maintain peace, aries sometimes intentionally instigates war... just to see what people are made of... Libra is more aware of others feelings whereas aries can be self-centred and less focused on others.
Aries can sometimes be gossipy with close friends/family.. I could see the average Aries walking through the door saying to their bff: "X, Y or Z is a COW! I can't f*king stand her!! God she sh*ts me!!"... Whereas a Libra does not say this kind of thing to anyone at all - not even to their closest friend in the world. They never open up about negative feelings.. They always try to sugar-coat. This can be bad though sometimes, because they bottle things up and it ends up being harmful to them. IP: Logged |

I disagree, because I perceive Taurus and Scorpio as very different.Taurus is SO physical, so focused on their body, on material things like having a nice house, a nice car, nice clothes, nice food on the table... They want life to *feel* good. It's so important for Taurus - to have their personal comfort. My NN/Venus are in Taurus - so I guess I have to be more like this in this life  Scorpio on the other hand could live on bread and water in a tiny cell for 5 years and still come out the same person they went in. They are much more psychologically tough, 'older' in a sense.. more cynical... not so concerned for their own welfare and more concerned about others (since it's a social sign).
They are too psychological, if anything..
They are in an extreme of being *so* emotional and psychological that they can completely neglect themselves. I would say Scorpio (and Capricorn) are the most likely signs to forget to eat & sleep because something else in their lives is more important and taking up their full attention.
Taurus would *never* forget about their health & personal comfort. My SN and Pluto are in Scorpio -- I really have to balance this opposition in my life and it's not an easy thing... so I think they are very very different signs. IP: Logged |

Libra's can be very gossipy too.... I don't know why people think Libra's have zero character flaws. A typical Libra won't say things in a rude manner but they be even more vicious then an Aries. After all the goddess of love and beauty is a supreme ***** even thou she made her self out to be perfection, she was never confrontational. Very passive agressive character. Neat thread. I'll add my 2 cents at some point.Odette, I think that is true in many cases, but I have also known a very different side - one with a lot of depth, with Taureans. Most of my closest friends have been Scorpios or Scorpio dominant and they have helped to keep me on track and been the more responsible ones. And your example reminded me of a double Taurus ex of mine. He had to remind me to eat and knew when I'd been running on empty or ten cups of coffee and "check me" and make me something to eat or try to help me take better care of myself. Like a typical artist, I forget about those things way too often and can be too "out there" or not take good care of myself without someone around to remind me to....to do the mundane things. I do appreciate comfortable and beautiful surroundings. I do not like having a body to have to take care of. I'm not very grounded most of the time. Anyway, point is, I'm a tripe earth and do forget about taking care of my health/body and neglect personal comfort often. I know another Taurus who was like this (a musician). So, i wanted to point out what can be an opposite side to Taurus. Just as Scorp has many different layers, or sides, so does Taurus, or earth signs in general and we don't always have it together or are only thinking about materialistic things or our bodies and the pleasures that come along with them. I've known quite a few Scorps who would fit the Taurus bill, simply because they enjoyed bodily pleasures and indulged in their senses (Taurus) way too much. ....more later.... IP: Logged |

Maybe this happens to everyone at times. I always thought I should learn better ways to care for myself and my own body because of my Taurus NN. And I feel like Taureans are healing for me in this sense... because they don't mistreat themselves.

I am more taurus in that description. But i can do the bread and water. Actually when i accumulate too much i often feel like going as spartan as the scorpio. My scorp planets ralso in h1 so i do concentrate on health. IP: Logged |
