How important is an aspect if there is a 0.00 degree orb ? (In the natal or in synastry.)Is this rare ? Do "minor aspects" cease to be minor ? IP: Logged |

I would put aspects between personal planets first.. in synastry. They are felt more strongly imo
For example - a Sun/Moon conjunction with a 5 deg orb would be felt more strongly than a Venus/Neptune sextile with a 0.00 orb.IP: Logged |

That makes sense.
I have heard that the aspects that are the tightest often reveal the truth about the person or the relationship in the case of synastry. I guess when I saw 0.00 in a chart I just jumped to the conclusion that it was a big deal.... IP: Logged |

Aspects with 0.00 ARE a big deal.But you still have to take the nature of the aspect into account. What aspect is it? IP: Logged |

Oh I am mistaken, in my natal it is actually not 0.00 exact but 0.02 and it is venus semi square sun. I actually have a lot more that are 0.10 or less but that doesn't seem so rare actually.And then in synastry with a friend it is my pluto sextile his venus 0.00 degrees.

The moon represents the mother right..lately I been wondering about my relationship with my mother and my moon aspects - moon trine uranus,sq pluto, sextile lilith, and chiron,conjunct nessus and trine MC. Makes sense. it's quite a painful, difficult, manipulative relationship.IP: Logged |

I don't know girl, what I learned is you'll always carry that part of your mother with you if you hang onto it. Which is something to consider, which surprised me, since on a certain level it is all about us and what we carry from the past, what we choose to make sense of, and hopefully forgive and leave behind. The more I carried it the more it dragged me down and that's a horrible feeling. That was like a prison.IP: Logged |

All aspects at 0 degrees are very tight aspects: 0.09, 0.20, 0.54... 0.00 would be the tightest, but... is is more prominent than a 0.02 aspect? - can we look at it like that... as a high difference between 0.00 and 0.02? From what i noticed 0.xx aspects are usually taken at same level - with an emphasis on 0.00 "for being rare". Or would some look at it as a defining aspect - a aspect that defines you like a Alpha aspect - wile the others, even if it's 0.01... follow the leading aspect from distance. I have just one aspect at 0.00 degrees: Saturn sextile Neptune... and i guess it's defining - but it's also affected by other - enough that it can't be immersive on its own. ...besides that - i have 7 other aspects at 0.0x/0.xx degrees - most are minor aspects... but being a tight orb their show prominence as if they'd be major. ------------------

Hmmm... interesting. I have my Moon, Venus, and Mars all aspecting at 14 degrees exactly. I forget how many minutes, but they're all the same degree. Moon 14 degrees Aqua, Venus 14 degrees Pisces, Mars 14 degrees Capricorn. A sextile between my Venus and Mars, and two semi-sextiles between Venus and Moon, Moon and Mars.IP: Logged |

Was curious, so checked my aspects looking for 0.00 degree orbs, was surprised to find I have a few of them but none exact 0.00.
tightest ones at at .09 mercury conjunct venus, sun sq chiron ( does it count?) at -0.06
