hello,my uranus is going to transit my natal sun which lay on natal 8th cusp so at the same time uranus will enter the 8th house. what can i expect ? what's your stories with uranus transit the sun ? IP: Logged |

When Uranus went over my Sun in the 8th many things happened. I fell in love, not a big love just in love, got engaged (Sun/Uranus rules my 1st/7th), but then as my natal Sun/Uranus is a square that one ended because he couldn't stand out as his own person and say that he wanted to marry me when one member of his family opposed, and I was a foreigner coming into the picture which likely complicated matters. ahem. Oh yea I also traveled solo internationally to meet my 'new family.' Ahhahaha! But I was open to something new. Also I was in a bad car accident, totaled that thing completely but yay made it out alive with just a bruise on my knee. O God it's more like what didn't I do during that period, some I def can't repeat in this section but I could in Sweet Peas in the Rain. Yes I had much more independence but I also did foolhardy things but that seemed exciting at the time so I was game. I threw myself into my life basically. That's how I'd sum it up, I went all the way. I took major chances and some worked out well and some didn't. Also during that transit is when I started having direct supernatural experiences with the unseen for lack of a better term. I also had experiences where my life was 'saved' by listening to advice from my higher self (words that I could actually hear). I would say, Uranus does throw things up in the air. 8th rules intimate experiences, also shared monies, contact with the dead, matters of the dead, things of that nature. If it's on the Sun in 8th (?) if you're sexually active expect to be exploring that side of your self in ways you hadn't before expected, also to be confronted with aspects of your sexuality that might even surprise you. Uranus through the 8th is a trip. I'm close to someone who has it natally there, the guy's been tempting fate for eons. It could bring a brush with death (like I had more than once there) or have you confront your mortality in an unexpected manner so be ready for that too. It's a crazy ride. I'd like to hear if other people had it over their Sun in the 8th too & what happened. IP: Logged |

ah go on lonake, make the sweetpeas thread  'threw myself into life' is soooo spot on my experience doesn't relate to the 8th but i will put my 2c anyway. uranus approaching my sun in 6th was marked by really bad anxiety, which got worse as it got closer. the build up from it's approach was literally crippling. i'm talking panic attacks for (seemingly) no reason, even in the house.
around the time it hit my entire life changed, i started in a completely new line of work, ended the relationship i was in, moved out and back to my mums. uranus insisted i get out of a comfortable rut, even tho it was scary, and there was no concrete direction or plan for the future. i sort of had to throw myself in the deep end in what i knew i wanted to do and just go with it. after this ALL the anxiety disappeared. and still, even now, (it has just moved off my moon) things are unpredictable and up in the air, but i don't feel anxious about any of it, at all. i am totally at ease with the lack of predictability, and indeed far happier now, than i was when things were humdrum 9-5 24/7. this transit brought me a lot of freedom i think. edit: i forgot to add, uranus is in 3rd in sag natally, and rules my 5th IP: Logged |

I'm just about to have Uranus trine sun!! Starts in April! Yay! I heard this is a great transit.When Uranus squared my sun 7 years ago I began university. Total change. I've applied to law school this year and I'm hoping I'll get in. The sun rules my 9th and the last time Uranus was on my sun I went to school, so I'm hoping for good news! IP: Logged |

I remember the first time I travelled to London (first time on my own) to see Jude Law in Hamlet and visit the city - in that order .Tr Uranus was square my Sun-Mercury-conjunction exactly.
pr Sun had just changed into AQUARIUS and was being square natal Uranus.
NOTHING went as it was supposed to. When I arrived at the hotel, they weren`t able to read my credit card (which makes sense in terms of Uranus-electronic- I think).
I was close to having a nervous breakdown, as it was difficult enough to go there on my own (a friend was supposed to come there, but due to financial problems it turned out the WEEK before departure she wouldn`t be able to make it!), and then that!
Well, it was actually when I stopped stressing out and sat down and gave a good laugh at the universe: YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME, right? That things suddenly started to solve themselves. It was just a minor thing to correct with the cardreader at the hotel (they had to type in the nmber for German cards instead just scanning it). Other problems arose, as well, to which I had to find quite original solutions and had to talk to people I usually would not talk to.
And me being so shy and blocked when it comes to speaking English! I had to really go beyond my perceived limitations.
Buzt that is Uranus for me!
When Tr Uranus was conjunct my MOon, I made my first trip EVER to PAris, on my own, to meet people I never had met before (knew them from a forum) and when I arrived there they had forgotten my booking! Though I had a resarvation confirmation.
Well, I checked in with that email friend I was meeting up with, as she had a double room.
Uranus. That sums it up I guess. lol
