I try to embrace it.  But, I admit... when it takes that long to put jelly on toast so that it is all spread "just right", and then the toast is cold... yes, I get peeved at myself! XD doh! Virgo decan Virgo Ascendant, trine Mercury and his buddies, sextile Saturn, Mars, Pluto (equally wide on both sides)... and, dear ol' Cappy Sun in Virgo decan as well... order... everything must be in order... not anyone else's though, so much as my own (that organized chaos thing I mentioned before *blame Uranus square*)... or else... I go all atomic inside... I'm praying my progressed ascendant will start compensating sooner than later... but, nope. so far, the natal placements are the stronger, far as I can tell at least. haha Not going to cut my nose off to spite my face though... Uranus squares my Ascendant with Venus... I can accept my physical flaws... but the health related nonsense that has bubbled up in recent years, in some part, possibly influenced by these energies... (Aquarius rules my 6th (Virgo house), squaring Virgo from Sagittarius... nicht so gut, eh.) Mostly I struggle to contain my perfectionist urges from imposing my standards on others, and to not be so hard on myself in failing to maintain them as well, (falling short of my own expectations).... it's sort of self-betrayal, when the mind gets too busy with making things "perfect" all the time... take a deep breath~ and accept the things that are beyond your control, and that things are not and cannot always be "perfect". Works for me... eh... 'bout half the time, at least. lol ^^; IP: Logged |

I know I can't be perfect, no one and nothing can. But it's stronger than me. At least I want to be perfect, I need it  I'm way more understanding towards other people's imperfections.And now I'm laughing at myself. I'm nuts.

The ruler of your ascendant is in Sag so I'm thinking your drive to perfection is fueled by a need to find a basic truth in all things. Merq is conjunct Lilith, so this might manifest in a dark way. The Sun in Capricorn also implies perfectionism. Plus Saturn, Uranus and Neptune are nearby; maybe you create and impose standards and limits(Saturn) on yourself(Sun) that are unattainable and dreamy(Uranus and Neptune).
