In terms of "different" I don't mean in a negative way, like, "Wow that person is DIFFERENT and WEIRD." Think of "different" in these terms while reading the post that follows: discrete, distinct, separatePeople are drawn to me like moths to flame, and I cannot tell you how frequently someone will spill their soul and their emotional tumult and their deepest secrets to me after just a gentle probing on my part--not that I am ASKING people to tell me these things, it just seems like a natural inclination for people to open up with wild abandon. That's not a bad thing--I imagine I make people feel comfortable, and I actually take pride in my ability to get along with everyone on such a confidential level. But the funny thing is that that I would never in a million years do this myself! I constantly feel like some captivating light people are drawn to, someone they want to share deep things with, and yet I can't help but feel like this connection is never in any way reciprocated--I always feel "apart" and overwhelmingly removed/lonely when with people in everyday life, even knowing that people letting me in on intimate details bespeaks their want for me to identify with them on a more complex level. I also constantly analyze people and situations with a philosophical (maybe almost overly objective) bent--and my fragile awareness of this just only further serves to make me feel "apart." Like, I don't think anyone else really "thinks" the way I do, as deeply as I do. And that's not at all me trying to say I'm wildly intelligent or better than anyone else--quite the contrary: it makes me completely frazzled because I think I am crazy for being on some other page completely! Anyway, some aspects in my chart I can think making me feel "different" are: 1. Sag sun (duh, as far as the whole "philosophical" thing) conjunct Uranus..making me a quirky person? 2. Pisces rising with ASC, Mars, Jupiter stellium (13, 14, 15 degrees, respectively) in 1H...Mars shaking up my ruling planet in the house of self makes me think I'm overly prone to being self-aware, and then also being in dreamy Pisces can't help much 3. Moon in Cancer opposite sun? Water placement versus Fire on top of sun/moon opposition...Never knowing what I want or how to meld who I am with what I need? This is for all us us feeling "different" out there and searching for a way to better understand the self to feel less odd: What other placements or aspects can we think of that might make a person feel this way that we should become more aware of in order to better cope? What you have written really resonates with me, actually. Especially the part when you say others do not 'think' like you do, and that you feel 'apart' from others. I have always felt like that. I really think it's the Sun conjunct Uranus. I have this, too (my Sun/Uranus conjuncts my Ascendant in Sag, too).I asked my mom why she thinks people have always felt very comfortable with me, and she says it is because I appear very non-judgmental. I give off an air of openness to others, so I guess they feel comfortable to tell me things. Again, I think it's a Sun conj Uranus thing- very open-minded, accepting, etc.. With you, you have your Moon in Cancer, so you might also give off a 'motherly', nurturing vibe. Pisces Ascendant is very sensitive and compassionate towards others. Perhaps others sense this in you. Starfairy--it's compelling that we both feel this way ESPECIALLY given that we have the Sun-Uranus thing going on with/within Sag houses. My Sag sun is in the 10th house, and I feel like the first and tenth houses are really quite intertwined/almost homologous (maybe this is a Sag thing though, i.e. destiny being linked to the self?). Do you have a "tense/intense" Pluto/Venus aspect? I've got Venus conjunct Pluto in the 8H (Scorpio)...kindddd of intense, haha. This is something I think lends to me having that "magnetic" draw for other people. IP: Logged |

It all sounds very Pisces to me. Having a hard time relating to others, having difficulty adjusting - is a Pisces and Aquarius trait, half the time on each sign.IP: Logged |

Lonake--all my outer planets are prominent (at least in the understanding I have of "prominent"), so this makes sense: Neptune singleton (in 11th), Pluto conjunct Venus (8th...and in Scorpio, eek), and Saturn conjunct Mercury (both are conjunct MC, though not a stellium because Merc is in 9th, other two are in 10th--but all in Sag). Am I analyzing this correctly? IP: Logged |
