It's been conjunct my Aries Venus since early March 2012 and has been continuing a direct/retrograde dance conjunction (never more than 4 degrees away)ever since.

Uranus is my DSC ruler and also the ruler of my fiance's Sun/Venus/Merc/Jupiter. Also keep in mind that close conjunctions to my Venus are sextile to his Sun, Mercury, and Venus Yeah, I'm rather fond of him

During this transit a whole number of things have happened. We moved into a larger apartment (and are doing so again this March ), started making money with a side business other than our normal day-to-day jobs. We got engaged!

I think the Venus/T. Uranus conjunction was only part of that though.

On the day my fiance proposed I had:

Sun in Taurus conjunct Moon in Taurus
Moon in Taurus sextile Jupiter Pisces
Moon " " trine Neptune in Capricorn (my Sun's ruler)
Moon " " opposite Pluto (5H ruler)

Venus Rx " " opposite Uranus/Mars in Sag
Venus Rx " " square Sun/Mercury in Pisces
Venus Rx " " trine IC in Libra
Jupiter in Taurus sextile Sun/Mercury in Pisces
Jupiter " " conjunct Moon in Taurus
Jupiter " " inconjunct Uranus/Mars in Sag
Saturn in Libra opposite MC in Aries
Neptune in Pisces conjunct Jupiter in Pisces
NN in Sag conjunct Saturn in Sag

And last, but definitely not least during this time T. Uranus in Aries has been:

Semisquare Moon in Taurus
Semisextile Jupiter in Pisces
Square Neptune in Cap
Sextile Chiron in Gemini
Trine Saturn in Sag
Trine ASC in Leo/Sextile DSC in Aqua
Inconjunct Pluto in Scorpio

I feel like that day was especially extraordinary with all the emotional, expansive, personal planet ruler, house ruler, contacts for me.

I can't wait to see what else Uranus brings while it continues it's soiree with my Venus

It's interesting that tUranus conjunct your natal Venus has played out so well, so far. Very cool.

In my chart, tUranus doesn't do anything It's been transiting my 12th house for ages though! Not sure what kinda effect it has on me, but.. yeah.

And don't get me wrong, it's not all sunshine and flowers. Sometimes I've felt like Uranus sitting on my Venus has been the cause of some of my discontent/restlessness as of late, but so much more good has been going on than bad and I have a lot of Sag influence (including my Uranus) in my chart so it's hard not to be optimistic

Lately, I've wanted to get back into a more spiritual center, and have started to meditate regularly again.

I have nothing around 7 degrees Aries, but by May, t.Uranus will be within 1 degree of my n.Venus in sextile (my n.Venus is in Gemini). Also, it'll be within 2 degrees of my n.Mars. The n.Mars conjunction is worrying me, but I'm hoping with the Venus sextile, it won't be too awful. I have a Venus/Mars sextile natally.

It's definitely worth it, IMO

I think people look at Uranus and see being slightly detached and maybe a little more independent as an "unloving" thing, and in this view Uranus gets a bad wrap. But if you look at it for the energy, expansive view, and accpetance (most aquas I know see the best in everyone they meet until they are shown otherwise) that Uranus brings it's natives; it shows itself as understanding, empowering, all-loving, knowledge seeking planet. These are the things I feel from Uranus, not detachment, uncaring cold heartedness..

That's hardly "nuthin." I think this would be quite an enlightening aspect for you. A time for you to grow apart from what you were into what you are, if that makes sense. Your SN being what you have been/could still be/are comfortable with being conjunct Uranus could give you the ability to move forward, away from your old self, without missing that part of you. And, in doing so, moving towards who you are meant to be in this life.

Are you sure? How have you been acting in relationships lately? Being in your 5th house and aspecting Venus it seems to me that the things you agree with/are fond of could be changing, or maybe you're investing time into new things (jupiter) that could seem to distance you (uranus) from the people/things you cherish. Or maybe you've become more aware of more than just YOU in relationships and are focusing on the type of people you surround yourself with, or don't and becoming more self-reliant, in turn? Hmm.. so many options it seems..

Not everything that's good for us is pleasant though. It's like being a kid and freaking out because we don't feel good, but freaking out even more when we're told we're getting some medicine to make us feel better. I remember running like the Flash to hide under my bed from that awful grape kid's liquid stuff. Ugh. The thought now still makes me shudder lol

What you say makes sense though, I'm guessing it's blessings due to lineage? Inheritance and the what not, correct? Which means you have to do certain things and act a certain way, especially in old money families...Makes it very hard for Uranus to do it's job. Don't throw it away though, maybe you can use it to your benefit in a way you weren't aware of before and now is the time to do that? Just a thought

it's felt more a burden. my dad's sag stellium (4-5 planets in sag) actually falls into my h2 so i suppose that house is charged up by his energies.

My progressed Moon just hit my 12th house, so I think that might be making me more insular. Probably t.Uranus has something to do with it, too.

Ah! So funny you should mention the astrology studies. Yes, I do tell my friends about it, and several want to sit down and go through their charts. The friend who wants to do it the most is an Aquarian friend of mine, who claims to not believe in astrology at all, however, she did give me the data for all her kids, grandkids, and her boyfriend! Heh! Yeah, doesn't believe... Uh-huh...
