For example, the asc represents the appearance, so that part would be permanent right? Then, what about the personality, planets in the first house are often considered a major part of the personality. So much that they may actually "blind" the person because they focus so much energy on that one planet, since it's RIGHT THERE in the first house, in front of all other planets. If so, how is the ascendant JUST a mask? Is it just the part that comes out when first met, or like the "base" of the personality. The setting, where all the aspects and planets do their own thing. Or like aspects, in order for planets in the first house to be considered important, does the planet need to be reinforced by other placements? IP: Logged

Its our physical manifestation. The first house is just the outer layer, but to humans the outer layer is the most important part. Kind of like our skin, the skin is the most important organ in the body that protects us. The asc will always be permanent and strong first house will get you far. Thou if you have rotten planets then your appeal will wear off . Animals and young children are more attracted to the core of a person. Usually people with a well aspected moon will have an infinity with them. IP: Logged

They have a lot of insecurities and are passive aggressive or maybe a huge ego, or completely selfish. Sometimes you actually have to get to know someone before you actually see these traits. Thats probably because terribly aspected personal planets. A strong first house can be seen in a number of ways. Certain aspects to the asc can project a better image to others. IP: Logged
