Topic: What Impact Do Natal Retrograde Planets Make?

I have three retrograde planets. Uranus and Pluto in 7th House in Virgo. Mercury in 11th House in Capricorn. What is the significance? Thanks. IP: Logged |

mercury retrograde especially in capricorn makes you more thoughtful before you speak but not when you are mad....lol. I suspect that you are like me twin. I am thoughtful and mindful of all things before I speak. I don't like to create animosity but once you **** off my mars in capricorn my gemini moon is not holding back. I am going to rip you a new one...lol. this is when the mouth works faster than the brain. IP: Logged |

Yes, Merc retro makes you a deeper person. I am not a superficial Gemini, but I have a Cancer Moon, too. I have Neptune and Chiron Retro. Think of Retro as making you really have to circle within the planet before you can come out, as if you are lost in a maze. It produces depth.

I agree with Merc Rx in the natal. Mercury is usually glib and talkative, but when Rx in the natal, it is much more introspective. As stated, especially in Cappy, you generally think before you speak. Uranus Rx makes you very conventional, especially when in an Earth sign (Virgo). Pluto Rx makes you more traditional as it relates to sexual matters; some may say old-fashioned, but that isn't a bad thing. In Virgo, you can actually get wild, but you keep it behind closed doors. I'm not sure how the Houses would affect this (7 and 11). But typically natal Retrograde Planets are not bad. I have a number of them myself, so I did plenty of research. As Ami said, they add depth. The interps are not so cut and dried when a Planet is Retrograde at birth, and there are more layers. IP: Logged |

I have mercury retrograde Sagittarius and I have a hard time expressing myself verbally and sometimes I jumble my words. I can express myself a lot better in writing. IP: Logged |

sag mercury 12 house R - speech problems. I stutter a lot when I speak in my native language, especially when I’m excited. I think/read faster than I speak. Also this mercury gives me the gift of saying the right thing at the wrong time -> When in doubt, I keep my mouth shut =))I also have leo Jupiter and cancer chiron 7th house R, taurus mars 4th house R. I don’t know how they play out though.

my mars is retro. sometimes i am exercising and have work to do still and people are going home. i jog at about rush hour. there's something i love about it. doing things at odd hours. shopping on weekdays. partying during the day. IP: Logged |

I have Jupiter rx conjunct my ascendant. Other people that I have known with this aspect direct are the most luckiest people I have ever seen. Money falls into their lap, things work out so smoothly...me??? No...it's always about hard work & succumbing to the demands through blood sweat & tears but in reality I think I have a deeper appreciation for the things that are in my life because I worked that much harder for them. I'm not as materialistically attached to things (even though its in Taurus) IP: Logged |

I have Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto retro in my chart. What's the interp for Pluto and Neptune e retro? (Pluto Rx in Libra conjunct Moon, and Neptune in Sagittarius Rx)------------------

OK, I'm going to ask a very basic question. How do you tell which planets in your natal chart are retro, apart for their good looks, that is?The retro positon appears to be offering a similar challenge to square aspects. Woud you agree? IP: Logged |

You mean in the chart or outward appearances lol? At the end of the number in the chart it will have an R or Rx. A square implies challenge. There is no challenge with retrograded planets. Just a more thoughtful approach to whatever it signifies IP: Logged |
