I would like to know how people with this aspect handle their anger... How do you help someone with this placement

This person I know is always angry always has his guard up... He thinks that everyone is out to hurt him or do mean things to him... He fights with his LOVELY neighbors and is just plain NASTY to everyone

How do I make this all go away... If you have dealt with someone who has this placement PLEASE HELP

Thank you ♡

Run. Run the other way. That is the only advice I can give you. I knew an entire band with this placement. I don't speak to ANY of them anymore. Just nasty, nasty people. This is the worst square there is imo.

I don't know what to tell you. My ex had this placement and he had the potential to be a nice person deep down inside, but he was incredibly combative. He would yell at convenience store owners, waitresses, people in traffic, I dreaded leaving the house with him after awhile. If I knew how to handle people with this placement, he wouldn't be my ex.

I know 2 men with this placement, both very gentle and kind. The first was a very good lover, the other is just a friend, but very fond of sports, so channels his combative energy. Both have strong Pisces influence in their chart.
I myself have much worse temper with my Scorpio Mars.

Maybe suggest an athletic outlet? Taurus rising and Venus in Libra suggest a amicable individual. I would be interested in knowing where his Mar, Pluto and Mercury are. I can see your Virgo/Libra nature be your need to make everything right for everyone; too sweet! I'm sure you're a great friend to have

Tell him to play sports, I recommend martial arts. My other half has this placement. Although he doesn't have anger management issues, he said that practising martial art helps him to remain calm in stressful situations, or when people provoke him.

See for softer aspects in the chart.
I have a 12th house stellium.
Mars in Aqua in 10th squared Pluto in Scorpio in 6th.

I'm hardly ever angry...But squares like this in my chart gives everyone a vibe about me not to 'mess with me' I suppose. Even the worst people are nice to me for some reason. It gives a person resillience and drive, too.

I have Mars square Pluto, but you'd never really guess from the looks of me.

My aggression caused some middle-school drama when I was a kid and I completely exploded. Oddly enough, that meltdown really helped me get my aggression and anger under control, and I ultimately came out on top. It's a scary placement to have, because I know that if I get angry enough I will completely lose it - blackout-style nuclear explosion. It's really scary to know that I could reach that. But the fact that I'm aware of it helps me keep it in check.

I have a heavier Pluto influence though, so I think that helps me realize when I'm hitting danger-zone anger so that I can pull back.

When I'm angry, though, I can still manage to scare my friends into thinking I'm about to turn into a serial killer.

I know everyone's suggesting sports and martial arts (which are all very good suggestions) but if he's of a less physical bent, screaming along to loud, fast, aggressive, angry music helps.

Thanks for all the replies

Funny everyone is mentioning martial arts: Bruce Lee has Mars square Pluto! This is an example of a Mars square Pluto person channeling their energy in a constructive way.

I have a very wide square (8 degrees) between Pluto in Scorp and Mars in Aqua in my chart. My temper is just darn nasty, but my other aspects balance things out.

I agree physical activity is important for Mars sq Pluto people!

I've heard that pluto is a higher octave of mars.
I've know plenty of people with pluto/mars aspects and I would not say they are violent individuals but I will say they're extremely powerful.

They can be dangerous if they're bad people, if the moon is severely afflicted I would be careful.

Basically you have to look at the entire chart.

Although he seems like a dick and he's probably abusive.
I would just stay away, you don't need to fix him.
He should get professional help.

Just some logical advice a stranger can give you.

One person I knew was very nice and helpful and used this energy to fight for people in need.

I just think a person with this needs to learn how to use this energy constructively.

Of course there is something you can do. But I'd have to see his whole chart. Astrology is worthless if you can't help a person by it's use. I don't think you can take one aspect and it tells the whole story of a person. We have to look at everything.

Does he have any good aspectsto the square? How strong is Mars and Pluto otherwise in the chart?

It might help if you could sit him down and show him his chart and make him aware of this tendency and where it comes from and show him by his good aspects how to overcome this.

See if you can pinpoint the cause of his anger by looking at the house ruled by Mars and Pluto. Anger masks hurt. Delve further in his chart and see what good you can find to help him. If all else fails... there is anger management therapies.

Look for good aspects to this square for your answer on how to help him overcome his anger and use it for a good cause. Anger against Cancer or Child Abuse... he could be a fighter for a worthy cause.

I look at it as a power struggle. Pluto wrested rulership of Scorpio away from Mars...the ultimate power play. I have this aspect, and oh yeah, I have a temper. It's probably also fueled by my fire Mars.

Most of the posts above talked about sublimation...sports, especially martial arts, etc. This is one good idea. But for me, my Mars is quintessential Sagittarius, and I don't have the attention span to develop a skill/sport to any degree. I was horrible at it, but I sure did have fun. Maybe fun loving Sag makes it easier too. Mars in Sagittarius likes to go on their passionate crusades, but much sooner than later gets off their horse and down to having fun.

For me though, I think it manifests more mentally than physically. It's like my environment is a chess board that I attempt to dominate. I have respect for those willing to play the game with me as long as they can accept when they've been checkmated. Passive people who won't play along frustrate me to no end.

It plays out in sexuality too. I cannot connect on an emotional level with passive partners. Those willing/able to put me in check cause an emotional rush that drops my barriers. It's sublime.

But back to sports: we're not all meant to be cage fighters, so there are other avenues of sublimation. I could see this aspect being very beneficial for CEOs, attorneys, politicians, etc. Maybe many of these people do have this aspect and why they're loathed. The key would be to use this energy for the good.

Interestingly, I've known many people in my life whose birthday was within days of mine and have this aspect. One guy in particular allowed this aspect to dominate him. He always had a chip on his shoulder and started physical fights. He was missing a couple teeth as a result. It was hard for him to keep a job. And the last time I saw him he was homeless.

In any case, while we certainly cannot all be lovely, I do have a tight, watery Moon trine Neptune and Pisces on the 7th house.

He'd probably benefit from a strict, old-school sensei who'd teach him that fighting is an art and to keep it in the dojo.

What about tantric sex? wouldn't that be the ultimate form of sublimation/transmutation for this aspect?

The earlier poster was on to something, we're not all meant to be cage fighters and what have you
