I meant it, you Pisces have a natural sense for compassion - while the rest of us had to learn it... yet, when it comes to receiving compassion we're all the same (we all need it sometimes)... and maybe Pisces might need it more, for giving more - but they tend to get less and cherish even that to fullest.

I know. When i joined astrology forums - i started revolting against all kinds of stereotypes about Geminis - since i couldn't relate with them. Among other things we're called "ruthless heart-breakers" whom stay around a person only in good times and don't get attached - which makes it easy for them to fly away when things get though or boring... That stereotype doesn't fit me in any way... and honestly "there were times when i wish it did" - since i was in a position - where i had to endure a lot of emotional pain and couldn't detach from it even if my life would depend on it (literally). When i write about something, i tend to go in details (like now) - can't keep it simple like a fire sign would... and Geminis are know for talking to much - so, that does fit... and so do others traits.

As a Gemini - i am a paradox in more ways than one, not the extroverted kind, not a social butterfly (not even an active Facebook user - even though, i did spent a lot of time on PC - so i could... if i was in to that) - truth be told, my chart is a paradox... which explains a lot of things. I'm a Gemini with ASC in Cancer... Cancer being the next sign in line and all the signs that are next in line - are suppose to counter the previous sign (Cancer gets to attached emotionally - wile Geminis are more detached from this point of view). I have Moon as dominant planet - which Square Venus/ASC and Opposes Saturn/Pluto... yet, it Trines Neptune and Sextiles the NN (which is in house 12). My Moon is in Aries but it's in House 10 - a public house... while Moon rules normally the home environment. I am a Gemini with Mercury in Taurus - Geminis are swift thinkers... fast talkers - yet Taurus likes to take things slowly (deep thoughts/thinker) - My Mind (mercury) can't keep up with My Hearth (Moon) and the way i am inside (soul of a Gemini). My dominant sign it's actually Sagittarius... Fire being my dominant element, but i have to many astrological signs - close by percentage (around 7 of them)... it's hard for me to related with "one sign alone" cause of this.. like those that have prominent signs (to many planets in a sign).

...as i said many times around here - "We are not our Sun sign"... every chart can imply a complex personality - wile the Sun sign shines more in private with people that connect to us on a soul level.

We have a couple of placements in common, like you I am also moon dominant and it's also in the 10th house. I totally agree that we are not just a sunsign. I have a pretty difficult combination of a Leo ascendant with a Pisces Sun. "Paradox" is a word that's been used to describe me, (by a good friend of mine) I definitely appear very different to the person I am inside.

However unlike you my Merc is also in Pisces so I guess that means I communicate as one. It can be hard to express what I mean and i think in mental pictures and visions. You have an abundance of the elements I lack (Air and Fire).

My aunt's in labor right now.
My best friend's sister gave birth yesterday.
This girl who sits next to me in Office 2010 gave birth 2 days ago.

...so far - this gentle side worked against me, among men it's seen as a weakness and same goes for dealing with the harsh part of life (a world ruled by cold hearted people - is not a world for gentle souls).

Agreed, my Pisces character only really comes across to very close friends and immediate family. Mainly I get mis-judged.

Well, i remember one time when i was at a table with 4 others friends - a Sagittarius, a Leo, a Scorpio, a Virgo and a Gemini (me). From all 5 of us - one was a player (kept hitting on girls from other tables) and i couldn't stop laughing while thinking of astrology at that point. ^^ The most extroverted the most flirtatious from all of us was "THE VIRGO" - well... him and the Leo (kinda passive). With Moon Square ASC, it's not in my nature... but still - that was such a Paradox - and when i mentioned to him about it he said the same to me... that as a Gemini "i'm such a Paradox".
