Possibly. 12th house is about what you can´t grab, so it applies to his affection as you perceive it.

Could be..At least in a romantic situation, often what happens is that the house person doesn't "feel" or has a hard time seeing the love of the Venus person. It could be due to different things.. like the planet person is insecure/shy/doesn't wanna show their love in an open way, or just that the house person doesn't "get" the planet person's way of loving. My boyfriends cancer venus is in my 12th house. hes not so emotional with words but he is in action.I dont feel he doesnt love me enough. Hes cuddly and affectionate so that makes up for it. My gemini sun, cancer north node are in my 12th. Maybe my cancer north node and his venus in cancer helps things. Plus we both have gemini suns.
Look for hard aspects from his venus to your planets.

My Dad's Aqua Venus conjuncts my Aqua sun, Moon, and Mercury in my 12th. He doesn't so much say he loves me as much as shows it. I've actually read that in terms of unrequited love, the Venus person tends to love the 12th house person, but the house person can't return the love because the Venus person doesn't express their love clearly when in the 12th, and that love isn't recognized in order to to be returned. Nah, Venus has been in my 12th in synastry and they have no problem making it obvious how they feel about me. My Venus falls in a few people's houses since I know quite a few Aqua risers and it's the same.
If anything 12th makes it obvious what you normally keep hidden. If someone's putting their Asc or luminaries/planets in your 12th then you can't hide from that energy.He might love you but in his own way. In a way you don't care for.
Look at your Sun & Saturn since that represents the father as well, with the way you feel look for afflictions. IP: Logged |

Okay, so you're saying (as the Venus person in other people's 12th house in the past) that Aqua Venus people will make their affections quite obvious to the 12th house person?

One of my besties has this with me, his Gemini Venus (and Sun) fall in my 12H Gem. I rarely catch how he shows his affection for me at the time, generally only much much later... I love him, but I distrust him. I realize thinking back on things this is completely undeserved. In the ways he's been able to he's been nothing but a good friend to me.Still, whenever I think about doing something new in my life, with anyone else I speak with confidence and gusto. Then when I tell him, he has this quiet way of breaking through all the **** and getting to the heart of it, but in a really gentle way. Every time I talk to him about something, I feel loved and at peace. It's amazing. When I think about it, it makes me sad we aren't together. But when I'm around him, it's like a physical stalemate. Except when one of us is going through any kind of emotional crisis, then we're pretty physically demonstrative. It's like the cuddling is saved for when the other really needs it. Otherwise we kind of don't... touch. With him, it's never "goodbye," no matter what. There are times I don't trust him - through no actual fault of his own, btw - and others where I just feel loved in the most basic way. IP: Logged |

whenever people say they don't notice the love from planet person im always confused myself cause everytime someone lands in my 12th i feel it!!!! they make me feel beautiful and uplifted, and each person has had absolutely no problem expressing their feelings for me12th house gives you a very spiritual feeling almost like they could be your soulmate, it can be pretty intense ad consuming so if your not very spiritual/aware of yourself or in a good place in life, you might have a hard time feeling this energy or wanting to accept it its different, its not so much lustful, its just friggin beautiful, you wanna make love to that person and cuddle them atleast thats what i feel  i also have an empty 12th house...i could love this energy so much possibly because aqua venuses that land there most of time trine my moon....i feel like if someones planets fall in 12th AND also aspect sun/moon/asc, youll be able to accept and recieve this awesome energy more does the planet that falls in your 12th aspect anything else in your chart? and yes check your saturn sometimes saturn can point to what you don't like...but then again it cam be good and make you feel comfortable with someome...thats why overall picture of synastry is so important!!!!! Oh yes i read about that but hes not like that at all. Hes very affectionate and cuddly. He also has this aspect with my daughter too. He does remind me of a father figure in a way. To me and my daughter since we both dont have our dads. Neither did he. He brings my daughter candy and buys her ice cream and toys. He always wants to make sure im not hungry and that i have money on me. Fatherly type things like that. He bitches if i drink too much wine lol Hes not cold at all. Maybe he bonds with us well because the three if us have gemini suns. My daughter and i also have gemini mercury and my baby girl also has venus in gemini. Maybe it works out? Plus his venus is in cancer and my north node and asc are in cancer. I can probably open him up.
He has sun conjunct saturn and he also has it with me in synastry as well as my daughter.
We are obsessed with eachother. Not in a bad way though.

Sun conjunct venus
Sun conjunct mercury (double whammy)
Sun conjunct sun All in the 12th house i think?
