I am an INFP! Mostly noted as the dreamer(idealist), and some would go as far as calling it a healer. I sort of kind of agree on that, being that most INFP or NFP domination personalities I know are very much caring. But my fault with my personality is my neediness for love and to have an ideal. I see this portrayed in my Moon in Gemini trine my sun in Aquarius, which can create a rather romantic personality which I am. Also, with my Ascendant in Taurus, my Venus and Saturn in Pisces lie in my 11th house. I attract a lot of Pisces as friends, or very N(intuitive) individuals. So everyone what are your personality types and where do you see it play out in your chart?------------------ Sun,Mars-Aquarius Ascendant-Taurus Moon-Gemini Venus,Saturn-Pisces Jupiter, Mercury,Neptune- Capricorn Pluto-Sagittarius Lilith-Cancer N.Node-Libra IP: Logged |

I'm INTP. It's apparently one of the least common types, especially for a woman. Introversion (Sun in my 12th, Saturn in my 11th- odd for a Sag Sun/Asc with and Aries Moon to be considered an introvert! I'm not shy at all, but very private!) Intuitive (Mercury conjunct Neptune, Sun in my 12th house) Thinker (Uranus- ruler of my 3rd- conjunct Sun and Ascendant in Sag, Mars in Aquarius, mercury in my first) Perceiving (Sun/Asc conjunct Uranus in Sag, Mars in Aqua) INTP's are loners, generally (Sun in my 12th, Saturn in my 11th), logical (Uranus everywhere, no inner planets in water), analytical (mercury sextile Pluto), detached (Uranus everywhere), outspoken (Sag) and inflexible..

istj- taurus sunThe Duty Fulfiller As an ISTJ, your primary mode of living is focused internally, where you take things in via your five senses in a literal, concrete fashion. Your secondary mode is external, where you deal with things rationally and logically. ISTJs are quiet and reserved individuals who are interested in security and peaceful living. They have a strongly-felt internal sense of duty, which lends them a serious air and the motivation to follow through on tasks. Organized and methodical in their approach, they can generally succeed at any task which they undertake. ISTJs are very loyal, faithful, and dependable. They place great importance on honesty and integrity. They are "good citizens" who can be depended on to do the right thing for their families and communities. While they generally take things very seriously, they also usually have an offbeat sense of humor and can be a lot of fun - especially at family or work-related gatherings. ISTJs tend to believe in laws and traditions, and expect the same from others. They're not comfortable with breaking laws or going against the rules. If they are able to see a good reason for stepping outside of the established mode of doing things, the ISTJ will support that effort. However, ISTJs more often tend to believe that things should be done according to procedures and plans. If an ISTJ has not developed their Intuitive side sufficiently, they may become overly obsessed with structure, and insist on doing everything "by the book". The ISTJ is extremely dependable on following through with things which he or she has promised. For this reason, they sometimes get more and more work piled on them. Because the ISTJ has such a strong sense of duty, they may have a difficult time saying "no" when they are given more work than they can reasonably handle. For this reason, the ISTJ often works long hours, and may be unwittingly taken advantage of. The ISTJ will work for long periods of time and put tremendous amounts of energy into doing any task which they see as important to fulfilling a goal. However, they will resist putting energy into things which don't make sense to them, or for which they can't see a practical application. They prefer to work alone, but work well in teams when the situation demands it. They like to be accountable for their actions, and enjoy being in positions of authority. The ISTJ has little use for theory or abstract thinking, unless the practical application is clear. ISTJs have tremendous respect for facts. They hold a tremendous store of facts within themselves, which they have gathered through their Sensing preference. They may have difficulty understanding a theory or idea which is different from their own perspective. However, if they are shown the importance or relevance of the idea to someone who they respect or care about, the idea becomes a fact, which the ISTJ will internalize and support. Once the ISTJ supports a cause or idea, he or she will stop at no lengths to ensure that they are doing their duty of giving support where support is needed. The ISTJ is not naturally in tune with their own feelings and the feelings of others. They may have difficulty picking up on emotional needs immediately, as they are presented. Being perfectionists themselves, they have a tendency to take other people's efforts for granted, like they take their own efforts for granted. They need to remember to pat people on the back once in a while. ISTJs are likely to be uncomfortable expressing affection and emotion to others. However, their strong sense of duty and the ability to see what needs to be done in any situation usually allows them to overcome their natural reservations, and they are usually quite supporting and caring individuals with the people that they love. Once the ISTJ realizes the emotional needs of those who are close to them, they put forth effort to meet those needs. The ISTJ is extremely faithful and loyal. Traditional and family-minded, they will put forth great amounts of effort at making their homes and families running smoothly. They are responsible parents, taking their parenting roles seriously. They are usually good and generous providers to their families. They care deeply about those close to them, although they usually are not comfortable with expressing their love. The ISTJ is likely to express their affection through actions, rather than through words. ISTJs have an excellent ability to take any task and define it, organize it, plan it, and implement it through to completion. They are very hard workers, who do not allow obstacles to get in the way of performing their duties. They do not usually give themselves enough credit for their achievements, seeing their accomplishments simply as the natural fulfillment of their obligations. ISTJs usually have a great sense of space and function, and artistic appreciation. Their homes are likely to be tastefully furnished and immaculately maintained. They are acutely aware of their senses, and want to be in surroundings which fit their need for structure, order, and beauty. Under stress, ISTJs may fall into "catastrophe mode", where they see nothing but all of the possibilities of what could go wrong. They will berate themselves for things which they should have done differently, or duties which they failed to perform. They will lose their ability to see things calmly and reasonably, and will depress themselves with their visions of doom. In general, the ISTJ has a tremendous amount of potential. Capable, logical, reasonable, and effective individuals with a deeply driven desire to promote security and peaceful living, the ISTJ has what it takes to be highly effective at achieving their chosen goals - whatever they may be. I am an INFP or INFJ.The reason for that is that my scores for P or J are practically evenly distributed. I think my natural traits do tend more to the P-side. But being a teacher I had to learn developing at least a little J. Plus my parents have some personal planets in Virgo. With all these fire planets you would think I was an extrovert. However, my personal planets are all below the horizon,w hich could be a sign for a certain introversion. Neptune is on ASC and Mars as well, but Mars in 12th house.
Intuition: well Sun, Mercury, Mars, ASC in Fire maybe (I read that firesigns relate to the Jungian term of intuition). Also Aqua Moon likes concepts and theories and all that stuff you can think about. F: Yeah, curiously with _Aqua Moon and Cappy Venus I still am more feeling. I use my thinking a lot, admittedly, but it is usually to understand to somehow channel the way I feel, as my feelings tend to be very intense and sensitive. The dispositor of ALL personal planets and ASC is in water. Disp of Sun, Mercury, Mars, ASC in Pisces Disp of Moon in Scorpio Disp of Venus in Cancer
P: well I am going with `P`for now. All that mutable energy in Sagittarius probably.
I guess with my MC-ruler and 6th house ruler in Capricorn and Saturn being a singleton as the only "external" planet, I can be quite `J`like as well. But it is not really what I like. I am totally fascinated with S-types by the way. ESFP to be precise (I like ENFP as well). Utterly enthralling and mesmerizing types. Those I met had that very strong physicality and sensuality about them (of course driving me nuts with taking things at face value sometimes, too), that I just found so fascinating. lol

I was just thinking about the correlation between Myers Briggs and Astrology the other day. I too am an INFP. I see this reflected in my Cancer ascendant conjunct Chiron (healing), my Gemini moon trine Aquarius venus, Neptune in conjunction with my personal planets/angles (and in the 7th house.) Introversion/reserve is probably a result of my Capricorn sun and Saturn in my chart. My idealism might also be explained by my Sagittarius Mars. I find that a lot of INFPs have some kind of Gemini influence. IP: Logged |

I've taken this test a few times throughout my life and I always get either INFP or INTP. Completely agree with the INP but I feel like I'm generally half feeling and half thinking. Just depends on the situation on which I act on more. I'd say my loaded 12th house and Cancer sun would be the INFP. And that along with Pluto in my third house and Virgo rising would be INTP.

I am the same way! When I was still a newbie, I learned that 4 of my personal planets were in Leo and was so shocked because I'm not like Leo at all. Then I learned about houses and how all my Leo was in the 12th house and it all made sense again lol.

INFP (Though Intuition sometimes balances with Sensing so ISFP is relatable) and type 4I have no water planets or gemini influences. I do have inner planets in the 8th and pluto in the 12th though. Just having a butt load of fire planets I guess... IP: Logged |

INFJ...Pisces moon in my natal chart but TBQH it doesn't really show it on my natal chart alone. It's more in my progressed + natal chart that it shows: progressed Sun, mercury, venus, mars, neptune & uranus all in the 12th house. Ruler of my 1st house in my 12th & Ruler of my 12th house in my 1st. Ascendant ruler Uranus conjunct Neptune in the 12th. That's all I could think of. I am an INFJ...Very Pisces/Neptune. Dreamy & notices the subtle/hidden things in life. IP: Logged |

Like Ceridwen and MillyX I'm an INFJI found it very accurate actually, I used the first link provided. Quote: "INFJs are twice blessed with clarity of vision, both internal and external. Just as they possess inner vision which is drawn to the forms of the unconscious, they also have external sensing perception which readily takes hold of worldly objects" - I think that ties in neatly with my 8th house Pisces stellium. Quote: "Extraverted feeling, the auxiliary deciding function, expresses a range of emotion and opinions of, for and about people. INFJs, like many other FJ types, find themselves caught between the desire to express their wealth of feelings and moral conclusions about the actions and attitudes of others, and the awareness of the consequences of unbridled candor." - Haha! that would have to be my tight Sun-Mars conjunction combined with my Leo Ascendant! All that fiery energy tempered with the sensitive Pisces and the practical and grounded earth moon/venus. Quote: "Introverted intuitives, INFJs enjoy a greater clarity of perception of inner, unconscious processes than all but their INTJ cousins. Just as SP types commune with the object and "live in the here and now" of the physical world, INFJs readily grasp the hidden psychological stimuli behind the more observable dynamics of behavior and affect. Their amazing ability to deduce the inner workings of the mind, will and emotions of others gives INFJs their reputation as prophets and seers. Unlike the confining, routinizing nature of introverted sensing, introverted intuition frees this type to act insightfully and spontaneously as unique solutions arise on an event by event basis. " - Again, my dominant signs according to Walter Pullen are Pisces and Scorpio. I think this paragraph perfectly sums up the combination of the two signs on my personality. Sorry for the lengthy post!!! IP: Logged |

INTP. Mercury in Virgo. Someone listed Saturn in 12th for INTP, but I don't see how that would compare to the Analyst's personality type per se or if compared to the Mercury. It may tie to the introverted side, but otherwise the Analyst is defined by the thinking T the most. For slightly more leeway, the N(P) might have tiny hints of it in a Pisces Moon (8H). Inflexible is an inaccurate word for an NP type if compared to SJs. IMO, for more acronyms. Mars in Gemini (11H) may or may not contribute to something with the P as well, not sure. Perceiving is more about open-endedness and options, not the "It must be finished or decreed and planned now" Judging. And I detest people's constant judging of Virgo Venuses so only bring up its 3rd house cusp position because it's still likely to have some sway also in the T over F. IP: Logged |

Wow same story, I either get INFP or INTP Interesting there are so many INTP's posting here with it being supposedly such an uncommon type Anyway I can definitely be emotional shown by my Cancer asc and SN, maybe also Sag moon in 5th trine Jupiter. But then I also have Aqua Venus, unaspected Sag Mercury in 6th house (always over-thinking) Plus my Sun is conjunct both Neptune and Saturn which is also a tug of war.. IP: Logged |
