If you set up your chart on astro.com, once the chart shows, below the chart wheel you'll see a grid showing the planetary symbols and a grid. Within the grid, you'll see symbols for the different aspects and either an "A" for applying or "S" for separating. Have a look and see if the square between Venus and Jupiter has an "A" or "S."

Aha basically you eat when you don't have anything to say, esp. when compounded by romantic interest to the other person.

Also, when you're in love, or in heartbreak, or somesuch.

Thank you by the way! But what do you think it was during my early childhood? Honestly, I think I've always wanted to be involved with someone romantically even around three. And I would daydream about it. Could that count as the romance thing, too?

Pluto in your 4th is beaten up by Saturn, from 7th. This is childhood issues related to marriage. Also Saturn is the ruler of your 6th and connects those issues to nutrition.

I feel you.
I have Jupiter conjunct Venus exact in the 6th and I've pretty much always had eating problems. Obviously the biggest is that of overeating / binging, but I also had periods of anorexia and bulimia. I still struggle a lot and it's very hard to have a healthy diet.. Lately I've been having some unpleasant symptoms and I'm afraid I have diabetes because it runs in the family. I intend to go to the doctor's soon cause it's freaking me out.

Also, I notice you have Moon opposite Mars. I have the square. It can definitely point to problems related to food / diet, especially impulsiveness in that area. It's hard to just control oneself with Mars, cause Mars wants to ACT without thinking, there's no control possible. Connected to the Moon, it says "I'm gonna eat this and nothing's gonna stop me".

Hang in there! ~

swampys,

Yes, and it looks like Venus and Jupiter are in an applying aspect. Not sure why the "A" and "S" didn't show up. At any rate, my guess (and this is only my guess) is that the underlying issue has yet to be discovered as to why you overeat. Problems like depression and Bulimia (your mom, you said) always cover a root cause. Depression is basically a form of control. Once you see a doctor, maybe he or she will be able to refer you to a therapist if necessary. Hope you get better soon.
