I have recently come across a great youtube channel about astrology. I have been able to pin point a lot of my personality through his videos and gain a further appreciation for how complex and technical astrology can be, not just the basic stuff that this forum usually talk about; not to bad mouthing anyone in general I understand we are all relatively newbies.Anyway, check it out and let me know what you guys think. I for example began to really understand the 11th house. I became interested because I have 4 planets here but no friends. Turns out that this house is a better indicator of wealth and happiness than the 10th. I also learned that I dont have much friends because my sun is in this house. People with sun (ruled by leo) in the house of people (11h) tend to feel like a king among commoners (also depends on aspects)and the sign that its in but in general this tends to happen. Also my boyfriend has jupiter in this 11h and it is well aspected in a good sign (aries) and guess what? He is very successful. Anyway, here is the link

This is only about vedic astrology....so dont confuse this with the western or sun based astrology. He makes that clear in all his videos. IP: Logged |

KRS is alright. He's made vedic astrology more accessible to the younger and western crowd. I do think however that he sugar-coats some of the more negative aspects in a chart to the point where I feel it's not always helpful. He probably does this to keep his popularity up. Who can blame him? Going around saying that Guru conjunct rahu makes the native a piece of sh** human being probably wouldn't get him many love comments from people who have that aspect. However classic vedic astrologers have no problem telling the ugly truth. In my opinion that is the main reason why Vedic astrology hasn't been as popular as western. If you have a negative aspect in your chart Western astrology sugar-coats and psycho-analyzes everything to make the native feel better about it. Vedic astrology interpretations on the other-hand WILL LITERALLY just straight up tell you that you are evil, unlucky, will die young or that will die poor and then go to hell after you die. LOL!!
