replace the periods with the url of the photo.

Put "img" (without the quotes) in brackets (add an "/" before "img" in second brackets). One problem I've noticed is that if the link starts off "https:" instead of "http:" then it won't take, but delete the "s" and it will. For more help, quote my response and examine the coding I used and experiment with your own image until you get it:  IP: Logged |

Hi PixieJane,I know this is an old post, but your input was super useful as it literally took me years to try to figure out how to embed photos in the posts. Finally, I found the answer thanks to you! 
Just a tiny note to myself:
If https is displayed in the link, it has to be http by deleting 's'
