I knew a person with this. In my experience they enjoyed talking a lot, sometimes too much, and about a lot of random trivia. It could be fun talking since they volleyed off of what I said a lot and weren't a boring conversationalist by far.

However, they didn't always say sensible things; they were good listeners but they weren't always really clear when they spoke. Sometimes they'd mess up epigrams/sayings and they could come off as know-it-all. They would use the wrong word/use a word in the incorrect context. They had dyslexia.

Mercury Rx in Scorpio, in the 6th - ASC ruler.

I am usually a good communicator (especially when writing) but verbally people often misunderstand me, or find it hard to listen to me - I can see them getting impatient or zoning out.

So what aspects does your mercury make. Most of you have mercury in 4th.

Some say good and some say bad. Do you have any aspects or planets in third which you think would contribute to either good or bad communication?

^^I've got gemini moon and my sun conjuncts mercury which helps in communicating,uranus and capricorn are in my 3rd H.I don't talk alot though.I take lot of time to settle in,I am not quite sure if it is because of mercury in 4th or mercury retrogade,do you feel like this?

My communication patterns change all the time depending on how I'm feeling. I guess it's because my 3rd house is in Cancer (or Gemini ASC?). Sometimes I'm a fast talker, very reactive and passionate, and at other times I'm like a vegetable who takes a million years to reply, trying to formulate something in my mind..

My Mercury doesn't make any aspects except for a conjunction to the Sun (5°).

Well, I have Mercury in the 1st (as I've stated)
and it's in conjunction with both the Ascendant and Venus.
Mercury is also my Chart Ruler and exalted/at home in Virgo.
I have Pluto in the 3rd House.
I live for communication! I also love learning new languages.
(I'm better at verbal communication though - I seem a little bit too formal in writing)

my mercury is opposite saturn/uranus/neptune conjunct jupiter, conjunct sun, and trine pluto
