I've just had my natal and Vedic chart done by an astrologer who came highly recommended (and seemed very good to me - lots of very accurate stuff).

My question is: For years I have felt (at times very strongly) that I may have been abused as a child. I have had life-long mental health problems. I should add that the idea of being abused in childhood was suggested to me by a therapist back in 1990.

The astrologer found no sign of abuse. Childhood trauma - yes - but not abuse. She said that I have inherited my mental illness. Nature much more than nurture.

I am more than happy to believe this, but I'm wondering, is it possible for abuse not to show up on these charts?
I'd like to put this to rest, and I guess I'm just trying to consider all possibilities.
