Neptune causes this state of mind where the belief is something really awful is actually the best thing. It's a form of denial. If you know about Neptune energy, it becomes easier to think these states of mind through and not become so convinced that you get lost. Even the easy aspects to Neptune can be a path way to these states of denial. Often, it means self indulgence to the point it's detrimental to your well being and that's one thing to try to avoid with Neptune energy. If you cannot avoid it, best to stick with forms of fantasy like movies, music, books, photography and keep it at that. These things have the least side effects. You want to avoid the obvious dangers like pills and booze along with the illicit drugs. This is where people run into Neptunian dangers.

There's other dangers through things Neptune rules like water or poisoning. You could be prone to accidents.

It's best to think through Neptune and not just act. I still get chocolate cravings and want to binge on it. This is another danger with Neptune. Binging. I tend to overdo chocolate and it's not good to binge on anything that has too much sugar but the cravings can be strong, then I want to eat twenty pieces of candy instead of just maybe five. This is a problem area for me.
