It seems difficult to get someone's actual birth time.Like, how exact does your birth time have to be to evaluate a natal chart properly? Does ten minutes off make a noticeable difference? IP: Logged |

It can be a little strange asking someone else's birth time. For your own it should be easy by just looking at your birth certificate. Time is key in natal astrology. If you're way off or don't know readings will be inaccurate. IP: Logged |

^ yep!10 minutes is an awful lot in astrology.. 2 minutes is kinda okay but even then, it wouldn't be very accurate and it can change a lot. It's especially important for houses, obviously, and when looking at transits and progressions. Cause you want your angles (ASC/DSC and IC/MC) to be right in order to evaluate /predict some events in your life, for example.

Some states don't put time on birth certificates which can be a nightmare unless recorded elsewhere like a baby or something. Then you have to go by parent/family memory that's pretty unreliable to me. IP: Logged |

I thought my birth time was 7:27 PM but it may be 7:24 PM. It's 7:27 on my birth certificate, but apparently a nurse said 7:24. IP: Logged |

Unless your ASC is in the verrry early or verrry late degrees of a sign, shouldn't make much of a difference. Check for planets in houses, also.IP: Logged |

If your birth certificate is in hand where you can clearly see/read 7:27 PM don't question it. IP: Logged |
