What aspects lead to a heavy interest in society, especially politically? I better have some of these!

Not only an interest, but make someone outspoken about what they've noticed and what can help?

In Vedic astrology it has a lot to do with the tenth house. Mercury can add an effect, saturn can play a key part because saturn is all about restriction and law.

Leo, and Leo ascendants, can make one want to "roar" and be seen for the wonder they think they are. When this manifests politically it can sometimes makes them noble crusaders to change society for the better and stand up for underdogs (typically as seen as "under their protection" which can come off as condescending if gone about the wrong way) or make one a dogmatic inquisitor or an arrogant tyrant, but regardless, they want to be heard. Finding that others reject what they have to say (or, even worse, ignore) can be a rude shock to them.

Aquarius can make one very interested in the "big picture" as well which sometimes translates as political, and mixed with Leo energy can make one especially aggressive politically.

um...

the signs that have historically been given governance of areas of law and politics are actually Libra (the Scales), and Sagittarius (Jupiter, Centaurus, Chiron - sign of "the fair judge") -

Aquarius and Pisces are signs having to do with the welfare of society...

If you combine placements that fall into these signs, and the houses they traditionally rule - Libra 7th house (which is *all* relationships - including business), Sagittarius 9th house (which is philosophy and higher-thinking, moral and divine justice) - And the 11th house Aquarius (which is social interaction and structures), and Pisces 12th (a harmonized combination of all the better traits that have come before, with some very negative extremes of course)... you can usually see the person who is most politically or socially conscious just with these...

Strong Venus and Jupiter - in aspect to Mercury and Saturn --- the MC and North Node - and several key asteroids (Karma)- would really stand out as well.

I would add in a healthy dose of Gemini, Virgo, and Scorpio - doesn't hurt anyone when it comes to politics~ Virgo made way for the Libran constellation-myth, (the two signs function extremely well together in politics for this reason most likely) - in legend, Scorpions are the guardians, investigative and deducing goes into their judicial and political framework very nicely, and Gemini, naturally the eloquent, filibuster-type...

So - while anyone can have an itch for political or judicial activism -

In the charts I have looked over, the ones I am familiar with personally and just looking at the actual planets/signs recognized best for this...

I'd definitely make Libra and Jupiter a priority - and depending on which branch the person was interested in or involved with - look for influence coming from their Mercury, Aquarian, and whichever of these above went with that specific branch.

Look for their strengths first... since there are many different types of political science and activity - or activism a person can be involved with... and each sign has a strong point, no matter what - in different fields.

politics and money- for instance - Venus - Mercury Libra, Taurus, Capricorn (2,7,MC, NN)

politics and law - for instance - Jupiter - Saturn - Moon Sagittarius, Scorpio, Libra (9,8,7, SN)

politics and social activism - for instance - Mercury, Venus, Uranus, Mars, Sun Aquarius, Gemini, Libra (3,5,8,11 & even 1st)

~ ~ ~ any of these, can produce someone with a strong ambition or interest, but those who act on it... I believe, will have the more supporting aspects to certain asteroids, or draconic asteroids/placements, and will fit one of the patterns depending on their specific area... so imho - there's no cut & dry way to find a person clearly into something - unless you are looking for that something in specific... everything else is too vague and stereotyping...

sure - we can say all Libras like Justice.... boom there ya go - or all Aquarians are innovatively conspiring against the government - just because that's what certain "sources" will say --- lol boom - that's the quick answer... and it is vague - and as expected - stereotypical - ^^;

Get lots of those to go around -

Sorry for making things a long read - and complicated... but that's sort of the reality of it... /shrug

maybe it will help~ maybe not! but, there ya have it...! lol my contribution!~ haha <3 take it/leave it

ftr - you have a loooooot of Aqua, right... >.>; 6h Aqua stelli (Virgoan) - Pisces 7h? - Libra 1-2? (Uranian-Venu-Jupiterean)-- yeah, you got some signs there! lol I believe... and could be wrong, again, but... seems like you'd fall into the 3rd group more or less that I listed in the instances above... socio-political; (serving - 6h + aqua - society...)

no?

True enough, but she was asking about "heavy interest in society, especially politically." Interest and "roaring" is a different matter from fine, flowery rhetoric and trying to keep society running smoothly. But Aquarian ideas & values can easily have heavy handed political implications, and they tend to be stubborn. Furthermore, Libras tend to listen and consider, Sag tend to fall back more on tradition & dogma, but Leos tend to think they're right and roar for all to hear and the more negative types don't mind being very unfair or even downright dirty to "win" (which in their view is silencing the opposition).

In short, the political Libran and Sag are more apt to be statesmen (I won't insult them by calling them "politicians") whereas Leo is more likely to be a firebrand (or intensely patriotic) and be more interested in leading (and with their own vision if with a strong, stubborn Aquarian mind mixed with a leonine ego) than in serving.
