I've read in a few places that the effects of Mercury retrograde start a few weeks before and end a few weeks after the actual time period of retrograde. I actually DID start noticing effects of this BEFORE it officially began and I'm wondering if perhaps this was coincidental or if there really is truth to the "pre" and "post" periods...in which case we all still have until the first week of April before its all completely over. This is starting to feel like ground hog day LOL!What are your thoughts on this? Did you start noticing Mercury's effects before retrograde technically began...are you still noticing them now? Do you think its all a bunch of baloney? IP: Logged |

A few days before and after--not a few weeks. But more like a couple of days.IP: Logged |

I didn't really feel merc retrograde. My dexterity was kinda bad. I spilled blue tube of paint on my mothers carpet and she yelled at me and I cut my hand because their was a nail on inside of the floor. That was the worst of merc retrograde for me lol I'll keep an eye out for any weird things still happening around me. These are links to what I was reading: http://www.powerfullight.com/Astrologer-Miami/Mercury-Retrograde-Calendar-Dates.htm http://www.evolvingdoor.ca/miscarticles/rxmerc.htm http://www.findyourfate.com/astrology/year2013/2013-mercury-retrograde.html I did feel Mercury this time around which is weird because I'd never really noticed it before or when I did I thought it was coincidental, but this time around it was like almost every day something would happen computer crashing, calls not going through, arguments, you name it! It has been frustrating! IP: Logged |

The retrograde shadow consists of a few days before and a few days after the retrograde period. Mercury enters the shadow period initially when it crosses the degree it will later make its station direct. The post-retrograde period is after Mercury has gone direct, and ends once it crosses the degree it went retrograde. This time, Mercury entered its pre-retrograde shadow on February 9th (5 degrees Pisces). It then went retrograde on February 23 @ 19.52 degrees Pisces. It went direct at 5 degrees Pisces on the 17th, and will be in the post retrograde period until April 6-7. Ugh, yesterday, my dad and sister got into a horrible argument that left both of them in tears! It was due to major communication problems. It was such a stupid argument, and now things are tense. Ugh. My TV seems to have conked out suddenly today, too. And my phone's Internet browser isn't working, either. I've enjoyed the retrograde overall. I felt better once Mars entered Aries. I reconnected with my friends (Mercury retrograde in my 3rd house). I've found it difficult to concentrate, though. I really don't like the energy right now, though.. Mercury stationed direct exactly square my natal Chiron in the 6th house, so I've been quite anxious and jumpy lately. Mercury is taking forever to pick up speed. It'll be out of orb of my Chiron by the 22nd, and I'm looking forward to it! IP: Logged |
