How does having your chart ruler Saturn in Leo affect the leonine personality?

I have sun, mercury, venus, psyche and ceres in Leo also.

Yes I believe it is significant.
You look more leonine than saturnian
the strong leo can also be the reason why but I've noticed the chart ruler effects the appearance.

I remember seeing your photos and you seemed more warm and approachable than most capricorn risings

They have that aloof waif look about them.

Leos are always warm and inviting, thats why they're so popular!

Is your venus in conjunction with saturn? you look very feminine and pretty!

Cap rising - chart ruler Saturn in the 7th (Leo).......but Mars in the same house/sign (out of orb conjunction) kind of messes it up - the traditional interpretation of it anyway....

I've attracted Saturnines and Martians all my life, or been that person in the relationship. Never can tell how it will go.

awww thanks kerosene <3

yup, saturn conjuncts venus, sun, mercury, psyche, and ceres in Leo. That's why I thought since saturn is my chart ruler I look more saturnine. I always thought I look saturnine.Although yeah, physically I don't look like cap risings..they are usually thin with delicate bone structures whereas I've always had my curves

^^

To be completely honest with you though, am a bit awkward when people compliment me on my appearance, I don't really know how to take it, whereas my leo female friends you can visibly see their eyes glowing lol
I mean they LOVE being in the center of attention whereas I don't, that's the only part of being a leo that I don't relate to.

I've got a similar thing going on...my Cap sun is in mutual reception with Leo Saturn, and the sun is my chart ruler.

Weird tug of war between duty and obligation on the one hand, and party animal tendencies on the other.

Now that's interesting, which side topples down Faith?

I don't have that kind of tug of war

My party tendencies are always in line with my duty and obligations. I mean I don't feel tugged at different ends.Is it because my chart ruler is Saturn and it conjuncts my leo sun may be?

My son is an Aries Sun, Leo Ascendant - with Saturn in his 1st - Saturn trine Sun, sextile Libra Moon, trine Sagittarius Jupiter, square Taurus Venus, and Opposite Mars-Neptune in the 8h (3*). He's nearly 6 years old, but I've already found it interesting how Saturn has emerged in his personality - it's not really changed the Leonine traits, not stifled them so far - but, he has all that Fire - with an opposition to his Sun's ruler - which is a little bit complicated to (I think distinguish). There's essentially a great deal of passion there - but to see him meet with a difficult task, and actually view how determined he is to overcome it, speaks volumes for the effect of his placements. Saturn has not toned him down, but created a very clear order of different responses to situations in him. Fire signs are by nature determined people, they are by nature, considered the most passionate... but this adds a touch of refined ambition, I consider it extremely favourable despite his square to Venus. Overall this will be the area as a astro-friendly parent, that I intend to remain very vigilant over (Venus square Saturn, and how to negotiate that obstacle in a healthy way so he doesn't restrict himself unfairly in relationships and understands compromise and acceptance fully) - but the oppositions don't worry me entirely - since each of his "harsh" placements make multiple positive aspects to others in his chart... but, as I said - he's very young still... I look forward to seeing how with time and progression that Saturn placement helps him evolve into his golden fleeced form. <3

Oh, but he's a showman - Aries, Libra, Leo (also Sagittarius dominant) - would make for nothing less than an extremely jubilant, social creature! haha

He also gets the usual for a 1st house Saturnian, and many Capricorn individuals - "he looks like he's 7-8, is he?" - he's very tall, and muscular for a 5 year old... ("My little Erakles/Samson" lol still refusing to have his hair cut... /sigh ~)

I'm actually happy to hear from you Jess and Faith that Saturn hasn't /spoiled/ (lol) your personalities - because he certainly doesn't seem to have~ ^_- -- you're both great ladies! Thank you for giving me all that much more confidence that my wee Ram will be great too~!
