Hi guys ! so I read on different websites that if the ruler of the 7th houe is in the 6th house it indicates separation and an unhappy marriage life ...The ruler of my 7th house is Venus ( libra cusp) and it is in the 6th house conjunct jupiter and along with sun and a lot of asteroids !! is it really that bad?

Given your nice aspects, I do not think so. If anything, your 7th house ruler conjunct Jupiter indicates a happy and prosperous marriage.

I think your 7th house ruler in your 6th house can mean that you will meet your partner at work.

I have the same thing.

It can mean your partner will have health issues. This has been true in my case.

Meeting through work is a possibilty, as is working with your partner.

The 6th house is said to be an unequal house, so a lot of astrologers consider the ruler of 7th in 6th an affliction because of the service-oriented nature of the house, meaning, your partner could take advantage of you and use you. There may be differences in power somehow (like one person depending on the other financially or emotionally more than the other, etc).

But yes DSC ruler conjunct Jupiter sounds like a good combo; so don't worry too much and just keep your eyes open.

HI! I am relatively new to astrology but learning fast. I have a question about whether having the ruler of your 7H in your 6H can indicate your "job" is basically the partnership itself, like being a housewife/stay at home mom. Is this a possible manifestation?
I was excited when i realized that the ruler of my 7H was Mercury (Gemini) (as ive been dating a gemini long term) until i realized i have mercury in the 6H, and i've read having the ruler of the 7H in the 6H is a bad omen for marriage!
we have had a long, sometimes difficult and troubled courtship, due to him having a long and difficult divorce he was getting out of. i also did have difficulties in my previous relationship, with my ex, who i was engaged to and i did end the engagement. He also was someone i met through my work at the time (but he was a scorpio, and ironically, scorpio rules my 11th).
im concerned this means im doomed partnershipwise. could the conflict that we had at the begining of our courtship be all of the difficulty, or does it mean if we do get married, it will fail? mercury is the only planet i have in the 6H, but it is sesquiquadrate my moon in my 10H and jupiter, in my 10H, oppose neptune rx and my AC in my 1H, trine mars in my 9H, trine saturn in my 9H, trine pluto in my 10H, and trine my MC in my 10H.
the ruler of my 10H is (Venus/Libra) is in my 5H. i've heard this can mean career/success can have to do with children. Basically, like i said above, I'm wondering if the ruler of your 7H being in your 6H can indicate that your "job" will be your partnership? like if i want to be a stay at home mom/housewife (cause thats truly what i've always wanted).
Besides the possibility of divorce, or marital inequality, or sickness, is this a possible manifestation?
My partner and i have many good aspects, especially with his mars and venus conj my sun at 7 degrees cancer, in my 7H, and my venus conj his sun at 5 degrees gemini in my 5H.

ive also been trying to time when i might get married. i counted the degrees between my love planets, and the only one that worked was from my venus to my sun - 32, which would be next year.

i heard a good aspect to look for in predicting when a woman will marry is trans mars conj the natal moon, and that will happen in july 2014, when I'm 32. is this a coincidence? at that point the transit north node will also be conj my natal moon.

i added my partners degrees for fun, but i dont know his houses/angles, so there was limited info to work with. the only formula that worked with his planets was the degrees between his sun and venus, which were like mine, 32. He was 32 at the age of his first marriage. He is now divorced.

I also looked back at what was happening during some big moments in my past... to try to get a theme... i currently have jupiter conj my sun (exact tomorrow!) in my 7H. Obviously, i realize this is great. the last time jupiter transited my sun sign/7H, i formed the partnership with my ex that i discussed above. It was actually when jupiter was conj my north node (which is also in my 7H).

this year that will happen for the first time in september, so i'm keeping my fingers crossed as i want to move forward with a more committed relationship!

seems like moon transits (im a cancer)jupiter transits and north node transits have been big for me in the past. i lost my V-card when i was 18.5, at my first north node return (exact). jupiter was also transiting my 1H when i met my current partner. My 1H is also ruled by Sag/Jupiter. (and my name starts with a Ju)

I have my 6th ruler(Saturn) in 7th and 7th ruler(Uranus) in 6th (near 6th cusp).... Is this bad too or do they get cancelled?

And, since Saturn is co-ruler of aquarius, I also have 7th ruler in 7th?

Of course they don't get cancelled. Don't be silly.

Just looks like your work(not Career)/health will always be part of your relationships, like a twin bond.

Yep, this is true. You could watch Saturn transits for 6th/7th house matters because it's moving faster than Uranus. Though they both have an impact on your 7th and 6th House.

ruler of my 7th is uranus, it is at the very end of capricorn in my 6th house and conjuncts neptune - i am not sre if the ruler describes my future spouse and the 7th house describes marrige .... or they both do the same

ps neptune rules my 9th house and ruler of my 6th (where both neptune and uranus are at) saturn is in ninth house in pisces, so neptune is also dispositor of my 6th house ruler and ruler of 9th house and saturn is dispositor of both rulers of my 7th 8th and 9th houses?

My 7th house ruler is in 6th house. I'm not sure I'd say this is a terrible placement for your 7th house ruler, but the interpretation probably depends on the ruler itself and relationship synastry as well as the composite chart. Venus in Taurus rules both my 6th house and my 7th house, because I have intercepted houses and the duplicated signs are Taurus and Scorpio each ruling two houses.

Either way, I don't believe in absolutes with astrology. Your chart doesn't control you. If you're aware that it'll be more difficult to find a happy and fulfilling marriage, putting in extra effort to pinpoint what specifically you need from a relationship and a marriage to be happy can help with finding someone that can fulfill those specifics. It'll also be important to know how to tell when someone doesn't meet those characteristics and will only bring you unhappiness.

I have to be very careful and selective with whoever I marry, because if someone proposes to me, I don't want them to risk making a decision they later regret. I'm self-conscious about some of my weaknesses as a spouse so only a very specific kind of person would enjoy being married to someone like me.
