Is it true that planets in houses are more important than signs in determining marriage? And is partner a's moon is in partner b's 7th house while partner b's sun is in partner a's 7th house, is this a sure indication of a marriage--and a happy one at that? Which synastry chart indicates a conjugal married life and what are the intimate aspects in both charts or rather which chart has the potential for a marriage
Any help will be much appreciated!!
I have enclosed the details for synastry chart reading as I could not copy and paste the chart here but hope someone can shed insights on this chart:

Hi astrolog,Your double whammy 7th House overlay in synastry is an excellent indicator that the two people feel that the other is an ideal marriage partner. In addition to a positive composite chart, I'd say that 4,5,7,8 house overlays are the best overlays to have in a marriage. Moon or 4th House means that you feel at "home" with each other 5th House for romance, baby-making, having fun 7th House for marriage partnerships, legal contracts 8th House is sexuality, joint resources You also need Saturn aspects to "solidify" and add structure. Most people would prefer soft aspects, but one or two won't hurt. Positive, active Mercury aspects are a big one for me, too! My other personal favorite aspects are Moon/Venus & Venus/Pluto. thanks saggi rising!! if that is the case, does that mean the possibility of both persons being together is higher if they have any of the important planets in the important houses than some one who does not?Eg. Person A,B,C Person A has sun in Person B's 7th house and Person B has Moon in Person A's 7th house. vs Person C does not have any important planets in Person B's important houses and vice versa. Does that mean Person A and B are more likely to be together than Person C and B IP: Logged |

thanks! I am doing a chart comparison for A, B and CA and B as mentioned -A has sun in B's 7th house and B has moon in A's 7th house C and B does not have any important planets in each other's important houses. Does that mean that A and B will set up family together whereas C and B will not? IP: Logged |

no, it does not mean that, which is exactly why you need to post a chart and look at it as a complete picture and not just parts. although house overlays - particularly to the 7th, 5th and 8th are important - they do not tell the whole story. couple A/B could have great overlays, but other planets that are in opposition to one another, or square to one another, causing conflict. and A/C could have no great overlays, but have a synastry chart filled with conjunctions, venus-pluto contacts, etc. I have a stellium of 7 planets in libra and when I did a chart w/my co-worker I have 5 personal planets in his 7th house and he has 4 personal planets in my 7th house. does that mean we'll end up married? no :-) other factors in the chart make a huge difference. my bf and I have no 7th/8th house overlays (we do have 1st/5th house) we've been together long-term and talk about marriage. point being... no house overlay will 'guarantee' anything :-) IP: Logged |

"Best" is open to interpretation as people have different ideas as to what qualities are most important in a marriage, but in my opinion best aspect to have is Saturn Trine Venus- preferably with the man being saturn (but doesn't have to be of coarse.)Close second- Saturn trine Moon- again preferably with the man being saturn. Another close second Saturn trine Sun- again preferably the man being saturn. Then another fantastic one- Sun Trine Moon. There are a lot of great aspects you can have in synastry but these in my book probably reign supreme.

HOW TO GET YOUR CHART 1. Go to www.astro.com . You can create a free account or enter your birth data as a guest; however, creating an account will allow you to save your information – great for trying the different charts both for yourself and for others in your life. If you don’t know the exact time of your birth, do your best to find out – it *is* important. 2. Go to “Free Horoscopes” and then to “Extended Chart Selection.” 3. “Natal Chart Wheel” is the default, but you will need to go to “House System” (under “Options” use the drop-down to change to “equal”). 4. Click on “Click here to show the Chart,” then click on the chart which will appear. 5. Right-click and save the chart to your desktop. HOW TO UPLOAD YOUR CHART 1. Create a free account at www.photobucket.com . 2. Select “Upload Now” which will bring up “Select Photos and Videos.” 3. Navigate to your desktop and select. 4. On right, click “Save and continue to my album.” 5. When you hover the mouse pointer over the chart, you will see that a box appears with a few options. If you need to edit out your name or anything else you don’t feel comfortable sharing on the boards, “edit” is in the top band of options. Select “edit” which opens your chart and provides editing options. Go to the tab “Decorate,” and you will see a number of icons, one of which is an eraser. Erase what you need to, and click “Replace original.” 6. Saving should take you to a new screen where you can see your chart and to the right, a bank of options to “Share this photo.” Click on the IMG code, which will flash and let you know that you’ve copied the link. 7. Go to your thread, open a new post and paste your link. 8. Don’t move or delete your chart from Photobucket, because the link only goes to where the chart was saved!

You're welcome! Hmm, I think I'd have to say that good aspects are the ice cream, but overlays in the "relationship" houses are the hot fudge on top. But if you don't have the hot fudge, the ice cream is still pretty good. I've had some relationships where my partner's planets fell into all the non-romantic houses of my chart, so I wasn't as turned on by them. It was certainly pleasant, but they wanted me more. We were able to connect because of the aspects, but I eventually grew bored. But that's just me. IMO, the relationships that made a bigger impact on me were the ones where we had all the romantic/sexual house overlays activated. This is not to say that they were longer-lasting, because they weren't. But I'll always remember them. In my last relationship, we both activated each other's 7/8 houses, plus we had a lot of karmic links. It was very significant for us both, and I only pulled away due very unfortunate choices that he's made in the past that I feel may crop up in the future. IP: Logged |

In either Composite or Synastry:Sun and/or Moon trine Saturn Sun and/or Moon trine Pluto Mars sextile or trine Venus A planet conjunct the North Node. Double whammy aspects involving asteroid Valentine & the personal planets Venus/Jupiter aspects Juno/Jupiter aspects NO significant Neptune or Uranus squares & oppositions In Synastry only: AC/DC reversed and conjunct. AC/DC conjunct the other person's MC/IC Mercury in aspect to Mercury (any aspect is better than none) Semi-sextile Sun Signs very OFTEN end up married, although not always happily That's all I can think of, off the top of my head. No. Because house ruler aspects count too. Even if someone has no planets in your 7th house, they can still seem like 'partnership material' for you if they strongly aspect your 7th house ruler... Especially with conjunctions or trines. If you don't have 5th, 7th, and 8th overlays, then 5th, 7th, and 8th house ruler aspects are a good compensation. The orbs need to be very tight though, for the impact the really be felt. Both 5th, 7th and 8th house overlays, and house ruler aspects, are powerful players in attraction. Overlays involving the other angular houses (1st, 4th, and 10th) are common in significant relationships also. They are not romantic so much as the are binding, and provide people with common ground... To do with personal outlook(1st house), home/family life (4th house), and career/reputation (10th house). However, I still prefer to see some 5th, 7th, and 8th house action in romantic relationships or, at least to me, the attraction just doesn't feel 'complete'. IP: Logged |

A/B are ok... there is a moon-pluto conjunction (tight, loving bond) and a venus-jupiter conjunction (good luck), and assuming the birth times are correct there is a moon overlay to the 7th and some planets from one partner in the 7th/8th H of the other.B/C are better... they have planetary energies in common and will undestand each other far better overall due to the closeness of the mercury/venus signs. communication would be more intuitive and they would have similar communication and love styles. the sun of one partner is closely conjunct the mars/venus of the other, and the sun of the other partner is in the same sign as the others' venus sign. the moon-mars conjunct and venus-moon conjunct are pretty great for romantic longevity... they bring strong emotional bonding to the relationship IP: Logged |

I agree; B and c are better, and have a better chance of being permanent. IP: Logged |

That's true.. I don't think 7th house overlays are essential, though.. I don't really like the Uranus opposition to Mars in A and B, however, the North Node conjunct MOon/Descendant and South Node conjunct Venus is really powerful. They both have their strengths.. The physical attraction seems higher in A and B, as well. But in B and C, I love the Moon conjunct Venus/Mars opposite Moon.. Very loving. And North NOde conjunct Midheaven is nice, too. As is Jupiter in the 8th. EDIT: Now I'm leaning more towards A and B, the more I look at it! lol The Node contacts always get me.. IP: Logged |
