Hi everyone :-)Lately I have been asking most of my friends for their birth dates and times. My closest friends are mostly Leo, but to my surprise most of my other friends who don't have a Leo sun are Leo ascendant! Weird, no?
My sun sign is Leo by the way... How does that work for you? Do you have many people of the same sign surrounding you? And if so, how do you explain that? Love to hear :-) IP: Logged |

Oh yes, absolutely! Karma dealt me a real hand with my family...My (estranged) Father, my late Grandmother (on Fathers side) and my Sister are all Scorpios I have three children, two of which are (you guessed it) Scorpios!!! My Grandfather, Uncle (both on my mother's side) and eldest son are all Aries suns. I am the only Pisces in my family but three of my personal planets fall in the 8th house. If you look back at the family on my father's side you could't get a more stereotypical Scorpionic family. My Father was not a good man and my experience with him was incredibly damaging, I feel that being blessed with two of my own November borns is fated, I dont care if that sounds hokey!!!  What makes it more intersting is how the children's charts compare to mine (and how mine compared to my father's) There's so much depth to this. IP: Logged |

Hi Maelstrom,Thanks for sharing. So you see it as a lesson to be learned by the signs surrounding you? Sorry to hear about the damaging experience with your father  And good to hear you feel blessed with your Scorpio children! I haven't got a clue with all the Leo's. Although we did spoke of the possibility to start a Leonine circus together in which we will do tricks, lol.
We all communicate very openly about how we feel and perceive things, so perhaps that's what is linking us. All the Leo's by sun don't really care about fame and being at the centre of attention. They all rather dislike it actually. My ascendant Leo friends love the stage and the thought of fame though and some actually do act on stage. Thought that was funny too

You're welcome Oh I absolutely see it as some sort of life lesson..I realise that having two or more of the same sign between immediate family can be common, as in my case Father and sister. But then to go on and have two scorpio children of my own...Scorpio as we know is symbolised by the Eagle and the grey lizard. My father was the lizard type so I am concentrating on raising two eagles. I am nurturing the sensitive, imaginative and powers of concentration and I am teaching them empathy with others - and to not take themselves so seriously - basically trying not to overfeed the EGO. PS. I too am a Leo AC, and I loved acting as a child/teenager - I regret not having kept at it  IP: Logged |

Yay! Another ascendant Leo Sounds good, the focussing on empathy and imaginative side. I don't have many scorpio's surrounding me. I have two ex bf's who were Scorpio though. From what I read (still new to astrology) one was the lizard type and he was very vindictive. Years (and years!) after the break up he still keeps sending me mean emails. Approx once every year.
The other one was all charm and in touch with his emotions. People really were drawn to his magnetism. IP: Logged |

Yes! Definitely!!I always meet and befriend the following: Gemini Sun or Moon
Scorpio Venus or Mars
Pisces Sun So many of my friends have one of these placements. I'm not sure why this is... My Mercury/Jupiter and MC are in Pisces. My AC may or may not be in Gemini (it's very close to the Cancer cusp!)
The Scorpio placements might be because of my Scorpio South Node.. They are usually early Scorpio - so conjunct my SN.
Also, I might be attracting Gemini Mooners because of my Moon sextile Mercury aspect (it's the closest aspect in my chart).. I communicate my emotions a lot.. and so do they. We have quite a lot in common. IP: Logged |

Oh!! I forgot Libra!
I have several Libra Sun or Mars people in my life.. usually men!
It's interesting how well I get along with these people considering that I have an Aries Sun... I'm thinking it might be because I have a stellium in the 7th (the Libra house)IP: Logged |

@maelstrom: I know and that kinda scares me! He send me a very twisted anonymous one with a scary nickname which I tracked back as send from his work computer. I never reply though. I am pisces and i have hardly any pisces around me, be it family, friends or relationships. What i do attract are Libra's, Sun, Moon or asc, and Sagitarius, mainly Sun and asc. Libra is not strong in my chart, but Sag is. Maybe that's whyIP: Logged |
