His Venus conjunct my Pluto, Neptune conjunct Mercury (enchanting aspect), Venus square Uranus for good ol fun, Venus opposite his Pluto and Mars. Sounds like a fun relationship the LL users always brag about lol Eros conjunct my Pluto too and the good ol fashioned his Nessus conjunct my Dejanira

If only he were real! He'd give me the heroin rush I'd need! I'm sad now.. lol

Anne actually has a good deal of understanding for numerology and astrology - though she likely does not practice either study anymore.

Lestat was originally drawn from her husband, but as his tales progressed more of Anne's own personality came through.

As far as his birth date - that makes him a double Scorpio, yes, Sun and Moon. I went ahead and put his houses to align with Leo Ascendant - this makes Scorpio house 4 with both Sun and Moon 1 deg conjunct and Mercury 29* 5h Scorpio, and Neptune into his 1st house. His Mars and Pluto are exact conjunct but in Sagittarius 5th house, as is his Venus. His radical, over the top behavior wouldn't stop with Leo Asc, but having Jupiter in opposition 7h, as well as Chiron. Pisces Saturn sits 8th house squaring Mars-Pluto, and Aries holds his Uranus 9th house.

This could all be a house difference setting it to default at 10PM. Location used - Mauriac, France (Auvergn, lovely area, look it up!)

Specifics like birth time are not given in specific - and, honestly I never thought to ask, but if your polite Anne does still respond to fans, maybe she had something in mind... (I'm sure she did)

Anne herself is Libra-Aries (unknown rising)
Stan was likely the double Scorpio, and knowing his own work - I would think he'd be likely candidate for Sagittarian placements as well, even go so far to say a Pisces Ascendant. Anne's Ascendant... I wish I knew! It might help in understanding the pain she has gone through and her transformations~ But, no idea on that one!

The Leo Rising - that's just astro-deduction, it's always been my thinking that there is no way in sam hell this character has any rising but Leo. (I say this with no malice, my son is a Leo riser, and a good number of friends) - but, you cannot miss them~ lol Plus the housing here works out pretty well, especially having Saturn and Uranus square his Mars-Pluto, and that late degree Mercury 5th house~ that works really well, I believe.
You don't have to agree of course, that's just me and it's all theory, unless Anne says otherwise. I'd like to think the only other possible rising would be Aries - (because Anne and her son have strong Arien influences) - I won't say I can't see that possibility - it would also make sense - then he would have Uranus 1st or 12th house. but if it is in there - almost certainly his Saturn would be in the 12th - and I cannot see that part. /sigh - so yeah! anyway!!! theoretically he may be a Leo or Aries Rising.

I've followed Anne's career since I was a tweenager - lol I'm actually not a huge Lestat fan. Prefer Marius and Gabrielle myself; though my fellow long time Rice fan friends tend to all adore Lestat beyond reason~ lol I only have one friend who adores Louis~ poor Louis~ no love~ hahaha

ugh - it's been awhile since I thought about them - I wish the vampire chronicles could be truly resurrected - but we'll probably only have to suffer through lame film remakes and butchering ~ /sigh I do not blame Anne, I respect her decision as an artist, as a human~ She gave my friends and I years of great reads and discussions, and goals~ ^^ good times!!!~

Ahh yes, I love these books. The only two I don't own are Merrick and Blood Canticle.

Although I do love Lestat I have to say that Marius and Maharet are my favorite characters. I wish there were more stories of the twins after they were reunited, but alas, Anne has no more stories to tell of her wonderful vampires.

She moved on~

but, she has continued writing, but now it's the Angel series.

They're good too~

Most people blame it on her change in spiritual beliefs, but I think it's more than that. She's been fighting (maybe her 12th house is heavy?) her own demons, struggling against issues within and without herself it seems for all her life~ she just made peace with things, and changed drastically within her lifestyle, downsizing, living more healthy, more seclusion less limelight~ and a change in overall direction with her writing.

She feels the vampires are still alive though, she's said before~ particularly when questioned about Gabrielle that I can recall~ (like I said it has been some time now) - but, Gabrielle is still free spiriting~ in her BM Lilithy way~ ! haha

But, sometimes writers reach the end with a topic (their babies/creation; they gotta let them leave the nest), or get so frustrated with (writer's) blocks, or find it too complicated to continue without compromising details they gave in previous titles (plot holes are a major failure, and in-continuity - most writers avoid them like the plague).

There's always hope though. Maybe they'll "visit" her again, and she'll write more~ but I doubt it... it is more likely that she has something or things written from the series whether complete or not, who really knows - but I'd bet money she does, that will be published posthumously (maybe her son will put them together at her will, or we'll end up waiting until his death for them to reemerge years later!) ^^; She's probably got drafts written for the Vampire Chronicles that weren't finished or not up to par so she scratched them or condensed them, or separated them into their own stories but didn't get them finished from loss of direction~ (common problem among authors, I'd say) lol

Either way, I feel there's probably more there - and always hope to see them return, or reborn. But, I don't feel bad that she stopped writing them - It bothers me much more when an author leaves things unfinished, at the height of interest from their readers... oh gawd, how do I hate that!!! *grrrrr* at that point, I wish they'd sign over the task of finishing a project to someone they feel they trust to maintain their vision, rather than letting things off with cliffhangers, that's just annoying! But, Anne really did finish up with both parts of her previous series (witchy/vampy) - she doesn't really leave things at a stalemate. So,yeah~ grateful for that much! haha

I recommend her Angel series~ she still writes beautifully detailed, and with the same passion to her profession. Just... not entirely dark~

I did not like the films. I am very happy to have read the print before viewing either film. When given the chance - always read the print before viewing the film... >.<

Brad Pitt annoyed the **** out of me as Louis though I'm definitely no Louis fan~ they did have Anne working with them, writing for them - so saying this or that about the first film is a bit off to me~ She kept them on point for the most part... It would have been great if River hadn't passed... /sigh actors...

Louis might as well have been played by Keanu Reeves... I get that "eh" from both of them (Pitt/Reeves) ^^;

Louis is the emo one~ Lestat is the brat only because that's what Louis wanted him to be viewed as~ he narrates Interview~ that's why Lestat "clears" things up and explains this portrayal - >.>; Louis didn't *want* people being drawn in by the now awakened Lestat~

Lestat is brutally clever, self-absorbed, manipulative, and far more capable than Louis paints him, (that's neglecting his positive traits obviously of which he does have quie many as his tales go on).... his curse is his need for constant companionship throughout much of the series... (he's not co-dependent or anything, he's just very lonely, much like Armand in a sense~ pretty much why their characters are so back-n-forth)
(~stoppingtoavoidnstoryspoiling~ ^^;

gotta get some Z's~ ^^
ya'll tc! Rice fans<3

Lestat is my God But it's a shame Rice turned him into a religious maniac for some time, otherwise he'd be just perfect. There are other vamps I like almost as much, Marius and then Lidia aka Pandora to be more exact.

I hope one day she will bring them back to life again...

I've read the books a few years ago and I wasn't interested in astrology back then so I didn't pay much attention to his date and place of birth. Now that we have his supposed chart and only the ascendant is unknown...I vote for Leo and Aries too. And Gemini!

You're talking about Lesty, am I right?

You should read The Vampire Lestat. I disliked him while reading the Interview (still can't believe it ever happened) but when I got the next book which is his "autobiography"...I was in shock. It was like enlightenment. Louis just didn't understand him. Lestat can be very naughty but he's more than that. He was forced into being a vampire and then left alone (damn freak Magnus). He just wanted someone to share the enernity with. And to know what it's all about.

To those who've read all the chronicles - is there any book that disappointed you? I didn't like The Vampire Armand.
