Topic: How would my Jupiter/Saturn conjunction effect you?

I've got a conjuction of Jupiter 21.04 and Saturn 23.08 in Capricorn on my nadir at 20.08. Seems disappointment is a theme in my life because transits hit my Jupiter then my Saturn. But how do you think this would effect you if you had a personal planet in aspect to my conjunction. Do you think you'd feel the Jupiter more if you're closer to the Jupiter and the Saturn more if you're closer to the Saturn? What if you had a planet at 22.06, smack-dab in the middle? I'm curious to know your thoughts.IP: Logged |

My take is that Jupiter tends to want to overdo things in the house where it is placed and Saturn conjunct would hold you down. It would balance your Jupiter so you don't overdo what the houses it affects stand for. Which is stronger, is the one that will win the battle.  I have a well aspected Jupiter in my 5th and I overdo playing games on computer. I should be doing something constructive but I sit and play games. I often overdo having fun to doing what I'm supposed to do. I kind of wish Saturn was there to keep me to task. IP: Logged |

Do you also have Saturn in the 5th? Or just Jupiter and PoF?Also, if Jupiter and Saturn are conjunct, how could one be stronger since any aspects from other planets will apply to both? IP: Logged |

The Saturn would be stronger since it involves the sign Capricorn and it rules that sign. Anytime a personal planet contacts Saturn, it tends to put a damper on things. However, it can mean stability. The person will stick by you through thick and thin.

And isn't Jupiter exalted in the 4th house since it's exalted in Cancer but in it's fall in Capricorn? IP: Logged |

True enough! This one is a bit more complicated! Maybe it just means balance? They both have the same influence? Since Saturn is there, still will limit Jupiter's enthusiasm a bit. With this combination, you might prefer that, anyway. You could be very serious but like to have fun. Do you enjoy being at home? You will show a lot of responsibility and might own properties at one point. If someone has a personal planet aspecting this conjunction from 8th, could mean you two are involved in this enterprise with properties? IP: Logged |

Glad I am able to help!This reminds me of Venus in my chart. Venus has both a good aspect to Jupiter and square to Saturn and the other day, I noticed during a moon transit, I experienced the bad and the good. Disappointment and elation. Not sure how to balance the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction. Maybe it is just something meant to be experienced. Do you worry it will affect people's opinion of you if they have a personal planet aspect the conjunction? Not sure how to change it. The only thing I can suggest is work on the optimistic part (Jupiter) to offset the restrictive disappointment (Saturn.) Try to be as positive as possible.

With Libra ascendant, it's always about balance so I can see why you worry being sullen one minute and happy the next. I strive for balance as much as possible. I prize being calm due to Jupiter in Libra. It's the one thing I feel I must have in life and there have been times it has eluded me. Jupiter in Libra does help me with balance. IP: Logged |
