Has any one successfully overcame negative aspects in their chart?for instance a gossiper
a impulsive person
a cheater ,liar.
a mute. has any one over came a negative trait?
i know alot of people who use it as an excuse oh my sun is conj this etc etc and thats why i am like that. Thats b.s i would like to hear some stories IP: Logged |

Bad aspects are only a potential tendency (toward those things). You are the ultimate person to decide if you will go with that flow or ignore those tendencies and do the right thing. Very often you hear older people saying how they used to be this way or that, but that they learned the hard way and overcame that. Also look for good aspects to the bad aspect to lighten it. My friend has a Neptune opposition ASC and this aspect gives tendency toward deceit. But because she also has several trines and sexiles to the ascendent, she may fib a bit and hide her chocolate from her husband... but nothing terribly deceitful. IP: Logged |

would that totally negate prediction astrology than?for instance a composite chart between two people who have gradually used self development tools would void anything a composite char or synastry t would indicate no? if one had a tendency towards something and then a chart indicated it but it was over came through self manifestation than how valid would natal/composite/and horary etc be?? my 5th house neptue cap conj my sun says something totally opposite than my current situation.
so does progression void all ??

I think you chose where the tension in a hard aspect can manifest. I have a sun-moon opposition squared by neptune in my 1st. The moon is in Leo in my 10th. When I was a child, I was a chameleon in order to survive. What do you want me to be -- I'll be that for you. I had to WORK at developing integrity because my sun is both squared and opposed. However, I chose to use the positive aspect of a 6th house venus to my 10th house moon in Leo. (I can't claim this as a conscious choice at the time but it did work for the best). My very first job was in the entertainment industry and worked in that industry for 20 years. Even after I made a career change, I still continue to act, dance and sing --all of which are positive ways to express both my Leo moon and my 1st house neptune. But I'm no longer confused about who or what I am.IP: Logged |
