Been reading up on Decans within Sun signs, some of it is interesting, turns out I am a 2nd Decan Libra which is Uranus ruled. 3rd decan gemini not true at all.Im pretty clingy and like being around my partner alot. Im very sensitive and emotional.
2nd decan venus fits better. Maybe my moon and venus in taurus changes things.

The firstThe first, Sun decan of Leo Big Leo sun number one, at least that’s how many of these first decan Leos see themselves. Yes, there are tons of Leos with humility and detachment, but we are concerned with the majority. These folks are naturally self-reliant and have a sort of warm, satisfied presence. On the other hand, they have sensitive hearts and egos, and are completely dependent on the approval of others. They win others over easily, but need to keep doing it for the sake of their own confidence. They like organization and being at the gravitational center of events. Very creative in a theatrical way. They bring light to the world yet annoy people with their pomposity and self-righteousness. A good number of Leos are what might be termed “high maintenance”.

2nd Decan of Sag (my Sun and Ascendant are here), the Mars decan.The second, Aries/Mars decan of Sagittarius This second, Martian decan of Sagittarius completely needs challenge and discovery, and may the be the most naturally frank and lacking in artifice of all zodiac decans. Headstrong and brave, they quickly lose interest in whatever fails to inspire them. If these people aren’t sports-people, they probably have some other similar channel for the release of their great spiritual-physical energy. They are the perfect example of the soldier of the mind and spirit, if there is such a thing. Nevertheless they can be so blunt and lacking in social nuance that others grow tired. Some of them don’t have the patience enough to do anything but venture onto some new exciting project and tell everybody about it. ^^ LOLOL I don't relate  Other chart factors have a reverse effect on some of these qualities. when it is off - try checking into duad, and dwad placement. aspects to the placement in said decan are subject to the decan of the other planet in aspect with it... check that decan too... and duead... dwad... decan is only one part of the chart breakdown mechanics - I think duads help to explain a lot - especially those spontaneous "totally not like x sign" habit or feelings in that area - like having sun in Libra's duad of Capricorn... square sign - but I have that rare time when a Libra lining comes through... that'd be the Libra duad... but it is very subtle... because that's the Capricorn dwad as well, functioning through the Virgo decan. gives the sun - merc-ven-saturn resonating energy~ instead of just saturn or saturn-mercurial - duads have a use and importance... but take understanding - since the concept is still underused in Western circles. me - I love duads/dwad division analysis

I just skimmed the posts, but was going to say that it depends on what school of decans you work with. many use elements (Aries/Leo/Sag), but one system I especially like (the name of the school I've forgotten, lol) has an elegance that really works. For starters, the decans simply follow the zodiac around the chart wheel. (i.e., Aries is broken down into--Aries, Taurus, Gemini; Taurus--Cancer/Leo/Virgo; etc.). So, given that model, I'm born in the Sag. decan of Aquarius at 21 degree Aqua.IP: Logged |

12!<3 you're talking about the dwadasama!? - duads~ they're assigned numerical sign and divided into each of the decanates too. ^^ - that's what I listed mine as above. decan - duad - and #sign I was reading about a really old method that did the same sort of thing - but it isn't finished being translated... it's like the volasfera for decans. <.>; IP: Logged |

Taurus , 3rd decan (Capricorn). Also dominant Saturn in natal chart. I feel the Capricorn energy in my life. My mother is also Taurus , 3rd decan and she has natal Saturn in Capricorn (on my Neptune http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/icons/icon12.gif) and a full 10th house. I somewhat relate to mine Virgo sun, 3rd decan in Taurus. The bold part below is spot in though. quote:
