I noticed a pattern. I'll use the two biggest examples I can think of ATM, Clause Von Stauffenberg and Ashley Wilkes.

Claus Von Stauffenberg, I posted him a pic on the thread about Virgo Rising appearance looking calm and seren.

Claus Von Stauffenberg may have wanted to kill Hitler but it wasn't because he thought Hitler was an evil maniac. His prime motivation was because Hitler's decisions play a major role in turning the tides of World War 2 from German success into defeats.

Stauffenberg felt that by eliminating Hitler from the equation and replacing him with a more sane leader, Germany could revert defeat back into success or at least have the war result with a peace treaty between Germany and the Allies.

Stauffenberg was pretty racist even for the time period. When Poland was conquered in 1939, Stauffenberg was reported to have stated that Poland was "an unbelievable rabble," their country occupied by "a lot of Jews and a lot of cross-breeds" who are only happy when "dominated".

This shows Stauffenberg felt that all "white races" outside of Western Europe (Germany, France, Great Britain) and probably to a lesser extent Italy, were inferior subhumans (especially the Poles and Eastern Europeans). Even among the "Civilized races" of the White man, he felt Germans were in the end the supreme race. He openly discriminated against Jews and other nationalities.

He was a militarist and diehard conservative, a true junker (German aristocratic soldiers) who wanted to see Germany as the superme world power that would one day rule the entire world (or at the very least all of Europe). In fact before his execution after his failed assassination attempt of Hiter, his last words were "Long live Germany!".

During his childhood, when Germany surrendered at the end of World War 1, Stauffenberg himself felt personally insulted both at Germany's defeat and the provisions of the Versailles treaty and like many Germans he was eager to avenge the German defeat in World War 1 in the next World War.

Ashley Wilkes is one of the main characters of Gone With the Wind.Like Stauffenberg, he was a patriot (but not a militarist and nowhere close to being as racist-he held a higher opinion of blacks than contemporaries).

Even though he opposed the Civil War and the institution of slavery, he volunteered to fight in the War on the sid eof the Confederate Army. He was captured as a PoW and sent to one of the worst PoW camps of the period during the middle of the war where mortality rates of high and living conditions hellish. He was offered to join the ranks of the Union Army and fight the Indians in the West instead where he had a much higher chance of surviving. But he refused out of patriotism for the Confederacy and would stay in the camp for the rest of the war (which would have taken a man of strong willpower to do).

After the end of the war and the collapse of the Confederacy and disappearance of the Old South, Ashley's spirit was permanently broken and he would never be the same man he was prior to the war.

Ashley Wilkes came forma a wealthy Aristocratic Family that had a long line of "Southern Gentlemen". He was considered to be the perfect "Knight In Shining Armor" prior to the War and the book describes him as so during the War before his internment in the PoW Camp.

Even after the War's end, he continued to try to live as a Southern Gentlemen in the manner that the Old South was before the war despite the changing times int he Reconstruction and thus his family suffers poverty as a result of this refusal to move on and abandon the old tradions and now-pointless patriotism.

Stauffenberg was a Scorpio with a Moon in Pisces.

Ashley's birthday was never stated but I would say he's either a Sagittarius or Capricorn and he definitely has a Moon in Pisces.

I can note more examples but I can't recall ATM.

I do notice a tendency for Pisces Moons to have a nationalistc/patriotic streak-esp. when combined with honor-bound signs like (evolved) Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, and Leo. In addition to having the Sun in a "honorable sign", if the person was raised in a patriotic background (like an Aristocratic bloodline, a family of soldiers, etc), this becomes VERY STRONG often reaching levels of diehard nationalist/patriot.

Ashley Wilkes and Stauffenberg are two characters who are typical Pisces Moon (as in matches the vague introductary online statements and articles about this Moon Sign Spot on).

So I immediately noticed the parallel in their stories.

In addition their are a number of Lunar Pisces with similar backgrounds and with Sun in normally honor-bound signs like Sagittarius who have similar diehard patriotic/nationalistic ferver and similar life stories.

What do you think?Have you noticed this patterns among Pisces Moons with these combinations?

I don’t think any sign can be called “honour-bound”.

Pisces moon likes changes. It is not the most loyal sign.Cancer moons,Capricorn moons and the fixed moons can be said to be lot more patriotic than Pisces moons. You are basing your theory upon Ashley whose birthday has not been stated. It depends upon the entire chart.I think moon dominant person and saturn dominant would be patriotic.

Clause Von Stauffenberg's 2nd Dominant Planet was the Moon in Pisces so I there's some credance to your theory.

I'm a Scorpio with a Pisces moon in the Cancer decan (and in a trine aspect at that) and I don't consider myself to be very patriotic/nationalistic. I love my country but not the extreme nor am I very traditional. In fact, I want to go abroad and explore the world (well, I want to grow old and die in my homeland, though). But nonetheless, I am open to exploring and learning about other cultures and beliefs.

This is probably a reflection of my moon in the 9th, which is the house of foreign travel, philosophy and higher learning. A moon in the 4th/cancer may have the tendency to cling to their roots and be very traditional.

I'm a sagittarius with a moon in pisces and stelliums in pisces, sagittarius, and Scorpio. Im not patriotic in the least; I find blind patriotism silly and foolish. It lacks deep thought and reflection.

I think your theory needs reworking. Youll need more than 2 examples and perhaps look at aspects, house rulers, and house placements. Maybe a pisces moon in cancer decan would have a higher proclivity towards patriotism.

My moon for example is in the scorpio decan.

That must be very rare.

I guess but I dont wish it on anyone! Im a handful and a mess of emotions mostly. Plus I have so many harsh saturn aspects and tons of tsquares from my saggi planets to pisces to my chiron in gemini. Id definitely change up a few aspects if I could. Or learn how to deal with my natal placements better. Its a process and all this pisces the past month in transits has been a huge mess for me!

^ You always seem like you have your act together though.

I'm a Pisces moon, and I've thought of renouncing my citizenship.
