I'm very curious!!
I don't want to debate if it works or not because thats all subjective. I just want to understand it. I've read articles but they are very vague.

How different is it from geocentric besides earth taking the place of the sun?

Makes sense obviously, but I don't believe in writing off something with out studying it and making my own observations. I find that really ignorant, thou a good excuse to be lazy lol.
We don't know what techniques may be used or even the belief system that may be different from geocentric.

Well I don't see why it would not work. In our universe or solar system everything depends on everything and it's all a matter of energies.
Try to visualize the whole pic of planets orbiting the Sun so you get a feel of it.
