Ami Anne - I'm always confused by when venus in gemini say they're attracted to people's words..so after your post in Beautiful Faces but I thought I'd just start a new one instead of derailing that one (for once hehe) So venus in gemini....I seem to attract them by the dozens being an aqua w/ mars in sag, but i'm curious...what exactly is it about a person's words that you find attractive? Is it their passion towards an interest of yours? or is it what they're saying something about it at all? or is it the way in which they say it, as in their phrasing and poetic words, etc. ? Is it their wit and/or their ability to turn anything into a joke or a pun? i need moooore  This can also serve as a thread dedicated towards the venus in gemini aesthetic if ppl want it to, i've been meaning to start one for ages because i loooove their aesthetic. It's all cowls and flowy fabric and asymetry and space looking stuff like leotards, etc. I feel like this guy's work personifies it (you can scroll down or read the article, i agree with everything the guy's saying anyways hehe)

We hate stupid people.Looks are great, but a sharp mind is a keeper. Aesthetics are important to me as a visual artist but If you're an interesting person than I can totally overlook your flawed appearance.

Gemini is about stimulation. With Aphrodite in Gemini, I imagine the person would appreciate someone who could keep them stimulated! Conversations, philosophies, the exchange of information and stories...words. IP: Logged |

Eloquent speakers and accents. If you can keep my attention verbally and make me want to intentionally listen that's a good thing.Not a fan of that "style" in the link you posted, it looks to comfortable. Style is very important, I'd choose style over comfort most days. IP: Logged |

As a Venus in Gemini, and someone who was seduced by my last boyfriend through email, I'd say it has to do with the communication medium itself. Writing is Gemini's domain, and that's where we're strong. As airy as we are, words are an expression of ourselves, and at least in my case, I'd say that words carry a kind of emotional weight to them that other people probably don't notice. I *connect* through written words. Maybe I'm way off the mark here, but say a Leo would communicate through a kind of Drama. A Cancer through home-related activities (like cooking, child nurturing, etc..) You know, that sort of thing. The way a sign connects to the outside world maybe carries an emotional connection too. My Venus in Gemini agrees, I like intelligent men with a sharp mind that we can relate to a mental level and excite me on (Gemini in 5th house as well), I like men with sexy accents (I got a boyfriend with a French accent, I am very fond of the European accent).. I have Venus in 5th house, but my Cancer DSC , Sun and Mars in Cancer loves a clingy , emotional man as well. For my passions at least -- the sharp minded man comes in the romantic then he has to be clingy for long -term true "true" love IP: Logged |

I find logical men hot, I don't really like men who look "stupid". I like a neat but sexy appearance, but I also like a man who is connected to his feminine side. But he has to charm with words *_* and be a romantic heheI like Libra Ascendant or Air Ascendant men, and Venus/mars in Air men usually. For some reason Water Ascendant does not attract me. I agree with everyone here.The only guy I've ever been into is a poet.That's what made me notice him.He also has a high IQ.
