How would such a person Affect you?

With a square to the Nodes, there can be an underlying feeling of tension, like the planet person doesn't quite "fit" in your life in some way.. Actually the planet person or the Node person can feel that way, it depends.

I don't use midpoints much but Sun/Moon midpoint is very significant, so it may feel like the planet person can help us integrate some fragmented parts in us (feminine vs masculine). The Venus/Pluto and Mars/Pluto midpoints are obviously very sexual in nature so the Sun person can indeed intrigue the other person but I'd still look at major planetary aspects between these planets to see if there's actually "real" potential there (I think midpoints are more internal in nature).

I agree with what u said about sun conjunct ic and the midpoints.......
But not sure about sun square nodes....I read somewhere that it is karmic and the NN person feels some kind of duty towards the sun person, some unfinished work...and that the sun person might be pulling the node person backward and/or forward because it is between both NN and SN.....

I guess so.
Actually I wanted to make a thread about the importance of compatible/incompatible North Nodes in synastry. I'm not sure how important that would be..

But when someone's planet conjuncts one of our Nodes, it is usually felt quite strongly. Can be a difficult association though.

A square would definitely require some adjustements.. a lot of awareness and conscious efforts to "grow" together instead of holding each other back.
