haha yes (in my case)! I have Sun in the 12th (conjunct Uranus). I'm majorly introspective.

i've got uranus, saturn, and neptune all retrograde in my 12th, kind of sitting on top of my ascendant. i'm painfully introspective. i have to keep myself in check because i hate the idea of being hypocritical. the worst part of it is trying to figure out whether or not a lot of the thinking/imagining i do pertains to social reality, and if they are my true intentions, or socially conditioned intentions.

if that even makes sense :|

Starfairy and Hanneli, thank you!

Hanneli, yes that does make sense. It seems having 12th house planets causes you to question your perception of things quite often which seems to coincide with 12th house/Neptune/Piscean behavior. The line between you and reality is blurred? I have Mars and Jupiter in the 12th plus Sun, Mercury, and Venus square Neptune. Often times I don't trust my own judgement when I should. But I find myself very introspective too. I think 12th house planets give the individual wisdom beyond their years in some instances.

I have no 12 th planets. Pisces and most of ARies there. I find that people with planets in the 12th have secrets. And me with none... No secrets and I blurt out my whole life for all to see. My husband gets so mad at me. I'm an open book. I tell even the most intimate things to people. I'm not at all a private person.

My Ex had a stellium in the 12th and he was so secretive that even after 17 yrs I didn't really know him. He never opened up about his feelings etc. like married couples do. And, he also had secrets.

Hmm. I don't think I have any secrets to be honest. I don't blurt out my life story but if asked I am honest about it from top to bottom. What planets did he have there?

Very true about the secrets! I'm sooooo secretive. No one really knows me.

I find that we're really GOOD at keeping secrets too, though..

I can get people to tell me their secrets even when they don't want to! But I find I have to not WANT to know their secrets for this to happen.

yes, very! not secretive, just intensely private. also, being 100% introverted does not help at all.

Do you study better when things are quiet? I have trouble blocking out sensory data. Everything in the environment comes at me on all levels. Hard to concentrate unless there is some sort of layer between me and it. I find house 12 is about layers.

layers? i study best when i am distracted off my internal distraction(thoughts) for example i prefer to study in the library with people while listening to music-that will give me max focus. I cant really concentrate if i am studying at home , too much distractions!

Layers as in blocking out stimuli with IPODS, sunglasses, headphones, clothing, etc due to oversensitivity. Those things act as a layer between me and the environment, buffering the impact. I have the moon/Neptune opp too which might add to it. Maybe it's because house 12 is a water house and water is a barrier to sound so I feel better with something between me and the environment to block the impact.

When I was in school, for instance, I could not concentrate on my studies when other students talked in class. I could not tune them out and I could feel the tension build. Others did not seem as bothered by it as me.

It's like we're the same person! During tests allllll the pencil tapping I heard would drive me nuts, and I think with 12th house placements it opens that planet's energy up to being more sensitive. So I have Mars and Jupiter in there. I get irritated easier than most (yet I have more patience in irritating situations if that makes sense...) and I also gain weight super easy.
