Does anyone have this? What does it do to one's personality?

My moon is well aspected (kind of...I mean it doesn't aspect my sun but trines S, U, and N in the 7th and opp. Pluto 5H) but I just realized it's semi-square my Gem ASC. Wondered about other people's experiences to see if I relate.

I have Moon sq ASC. It can make someone very dependent on "home", kind of a homebody. Also: emotional, moody, changeable feeling/reactions to everything and everyone. Touchy feely, sensitive. It's hard to change habits.. very set in their ways. Emotionally dependent, can be childish. The personality (ASC) clashes with emotions (Moon). Say you're naturally an outgoing person and love to socialise but at the same time you have dark moments where you feel like you want to hide/disappear. A sort of discrepancy between what you project and what you actually feel inside.

Yeah! The bolded part. Is that for example like when one says "Yeah I'm okay with friends with benefits" but they really aren't, they just don't realize it 'til they're in the thick of things? I'm not going through that or anything, it's just the first example that came to mind.

Well, if that's the only thing you can relate to.. it probably doesn't have much influence in your chart. Because the part you bolded can be related to many different aspects such as hard Sun/ASC aspects, or simply an afflicted Moon (which often means denying/not recognising one's needs or having a hard time expressing one's true needs).

I relate to everything else too, but the bolded part is what hit home especially. Sun and ASC don't aspect.

I have Moon square ASC, conjunct IC and boy it does hurt... I want to go out with friends but when I return to home...nothing can make me leave it. Me on Monday: "Yeah, Friday night concert/club yes!" Me on Friday Morning "**** i don't want to go out"

THAT'S SO ME! If I'm home and grungy starting out and have nothing to do, it takes a whole lot to motivate me to change otherwise. I'm definitely not like my Scorp/Virgo/Sag friend who is like... party party party party. stop. party party party. I don't know how she does it.

I have Moon square ascendant. I can relate to the above posts. So this means that people see me as a Capricorn (my ascendant and sun too actually) even though I am feeling Scorpionic (my moon which is conjunct pluto.)? I mean I know this is the case.

Maybe this is why I feel a lot darker than people tend to see me as? (Not that Capricorn is a particularly bright influence at all.) I feel like I am keeping a secret from people all the time.

I have the square too and relate to everything that has been said here. I think you especially tend to be seen as either too vulnerable/emotional or as if you have this pokerface. Even with pictures - you can tell when I'm just posing and when I'm really happy.

Though I love my alone time, I'll go with people when they invite me (or when I see something I want to go to with others). But I wouldn't go alone. It feels awkward. Lol I need the emotional support. The non-stop partying isn't for me either.

I think the air signs could make that easier. You have the semi-square, so maybe it's less of an issue for you. CafeAstrology says something about "conflicting with how you truly feel", and I take it that it can mean having a front. Maybe because you're nervous.
