I have sun conjunct saturn (saturn also conjuncts capricorn north node) and sun opposite jupiter and I find myself constantly torn between those two. Its like saturn is the angel sitting on 1 shoulder telling me the right thing (and what i need) to do and jupiter is the devil sitting on the opposite telling me all the things i want to do and whats fun. now that may not sound very bad but the two are almost always directly in conflict. examples:I may get invited to a party in a city two hours away by friends who i havent seen in ages but this will happen at a time when im strapped for cash and need to save money and gas. Or times when something happens that i really want to go to but i already have obligations. The problem is I always end up giving into jupiter and suffering in some way as a result. also i have trouble controlling the jupiter side of me on a daily basis... I end up going out to eat and treating myself or buying something i want but dont need and saturn ends up punishing me. I'm wondering how i can
find a balance between these
two very different personalities.
the saturn part of me wants to
save for a rainy day and is very
burdened by responsibility and
obligations and the jupiter side
of me that wants to do what's
fun and pleasurable today and
wants it now!right now!!! what
really complicates the matter is
since saturn is also joined with
the north node and i basically
have to follow the saturine path
or suffer but at the same time i
cant deny the jupiter side of me
or i'll be miserable . and the two
are almost always in direct
conflict with one another. does .anyone else have sun/saturn
and sun/jupiter and relate to
what im saying. does anybody have any suggestions?

Hey, I have the exact same aspects! And my Jupiter is in Leo, which is probably making it even worse
I love going out and have fun, I , like you described always choose fun over obligations, but that's mainly because I believe I'm still young (22 yo) so I deserve to still have some fun around.

The Capricorn part in me (I'm Capricorn dominant)has solved this problem. I'm very hard working. I want to be able to spend money, therefore I work a lot so I can have the money I want. My current job for pocket money (as I'm still in Uni) combines having fun with making money, so this really helps me.

Generally I have found, that writing down my finances helps me a lot managing them. You should write down what's your income, and what you have to spend on basic needs and then save up money an give yourself little treat

I don't have either of these aspects, but I see the dilemma. Sounds very stressful. When it comes to finances, you really should listen to Saturn, especially with your NN in the same sign.

Do you have any positive aspects to both planets (or just Saturn)? Checking out the sign and house that planet is in could give you an idea of what to do with Saturn without completely giving up on fun. Midpoints may help as well.

Do some people mind you cancelling?
