Hello all,

I'm currently experiencing my 1st Saturn Rx (Sat. is in retrograde motion, so it's coming back around for me in about a week) on my Mars-Saturn conj. in the 11th. I've been in hermit-mode for a while, but it's getting really intense now. The funny thing is, I want to keep completely still and wait it out--but that's unrealistic.

I also have a Uranus trine Uranus happening, Pluto in the 1st, and a bunch of other good/tough aspects. But it seems that this Saturn Rx has the greatest impact. How can I break free?? I feel like I'm stuck in mud and I'm HAPPY to be here! No socializing at all (I had to go to the Post Office the other day and I nearly fainted from all the sunlight)...

HELP!

You will probably have to be in that hermit-mode until saturn enters your 1st.Have you had any problems in friendships?saturn in 11th left me with no friends, you have your natal saturn there so you will probably cope well.Did saturn enter your 12th before retrogading?that may explain the feeling of lack of energy. From what I’ve read as well as experienced, don’t start anything new projects until it enters your 1st,just finish what you have to finish.Saturn in 12th was harder than even 11th for me,it could be different for you.You may experience lack of energy and isolation. You may feel like you are stuck.I think you should concentrate on your own self for a while.

You are also experiencing pluto in 1st,two difficult transits at the same time, that must be tough. It may explain your intense feeling.Pluto in 1st may bring changes in your identity, psyche, may remove everything that is useless.Saturn in 11th tells you to withdraw, pluto tells you to renew, you may get pulled between two sides.I think you should withdraw and focus on your own self(saturn in 11th) and renew what you have to renew(pluto in 1st).Pluto will change things anyhow so don’t try to resist the change.

anonymidarkness, thanks so much for the insights!

Waiting until 2016 for Saturn to into the 1st?? Oh Noes! I just experienced Saturn in 10H--lost my longtime job and now I only want to be self-employed. But now that my savings AND unemployment have run out, I need to get a little more real (for now).

As far friendships, I find that I really don't want to be bothered. I am RELISHING my alone time, but they are experiencing Saturn Rxs of their own, and they keep reaching out to me for help. Ugh.

No new projects? I'm trying to stay focused and complete a novel since I've got tr. Neptune in the 3rd trining Sun-Merc-Venus.

For anyone who happens upon this thread, did you feel that tr. Saturn had the strongest influence on you?

I'll take a Saturn transit any day over a Pluto transit

I don't know why Saturn gets such a bad rap
Important Karmic events happen during Saturn transits. (like childbirth)
Can you imagine a closer bond than one between parent and child? Now how can that be bad?
(and yes, Saturn makes you work for it)

Saturn asks you to grow up and take responsibility for your actions. It's a maturing process, a sobering experience,
Saturn says you are now the adult.

At this moment, these transits are affecting me:
- Saturn return, applying in 4th(whole sign)
- Uranus trine Uranus, applying
- Neptune opposite Venus, separating

I really don't feel like Saturn has the strongest influence on me.
That would be Neptune... It was brutal a few days before being exact and I'm trying really hard to deal with it.

The Saturn return hasn't changed anything in my 4th area of life. I'm happy with what I've got going on.
I welcome it because I know now clearly what I'd like my life to be like in the next years.

And Uranus, I can't wait to see what it brings

Don't want to give any advice, but I'll tell you what worked for me.
Lots of reflection on past, present and future. Decided which parts of my life are good, which were the mistakes,
solemnly sworn not to repeat them and imagined myself in the next few years: what I'd like to do, to pursue,
what is really important to me and I want to keep.

I think Pluto in your 1st is telling you to dive into abyss and come back renewed and transformed! This way, Saturn will also be pleased. Good luck!

Haven't had a Saturn conjunction in a very long time. Been experiencing lots of Saturn oppositions.

The last time I had a Saturn conjunction was my Leo IC. I took drivers ed around this time, and was sick of wasting my time being an over achiever and had a burn out from something I use to love to do.

And after that it's just been oppositions. My Aqarious Mars, Venus Pisces, Aries Sun. And now my Mercury in Taurus.

Saturn oppose Venus was pretty rock bottom for me, low self esteem.

But eventually Saturn will conjunct my Moon and Pluto. Sqaure IC, n. node, MC and Mars.

I feel I'm stuck right now. Like it's impossible to plan anything I want to do.

I feel like the choices I've made have put me in a dead end.

But I'm staying positive.

Saturn is opposing my 11 deg Mercury in my 12 house. Yes so when it went rx it was doing it was bulls eye on my Mercury.

And the thing with all this stuff in Aries it is always squaring something in my chart no matter where it is. (well except the very last degrees where I have nothing.)

Uranus is transiting my 11th house. Friendships have been up and down during this time. Only one close friend right now.

and with the opposition, I feel like its impossible to make plans with the person I'm intimate with.

was in a horrid mental state because of it at first.

but now I'm just staying positive and going with the flow.

When Saturn goes direct in July it will be sexiling my Jupiter...so I'm thinking that will be positive.

Also for a while Pluto was opposing my Jupiter house 2...I had some unlucky issues with my money that had to be sorted with IRS, cause other people where being a$$holes with my money.

But Pluto has been transiting my 8th house. And I really like it. Pluto is exactly on my ASC. I wasn't a sexual person until Pluto entered my 8th house.

Yes I'd say Saturn Transits are powerful especially on Angles and the planets associated with with those angles.

Currently I have Tr. Saturn in my 6th is square my MC/NN/IC/SN and Mercury 3 orbs. As well as Tr. Saturn conjunct natal Juno exact. So I have been taking time and effort to re-structure my daily routines(fitness and health 6th), re-developing my work skills (learning new programs for my resumes)(6th house + MC/NN), improving my communication skills; going back to studying my foreign languages (mercury), and improving my home life (IC/Sn).

Overall it a maturing time period for me. Saturn transits are Powerful because they usually push you outside of your comfort zone. There like that nagging parent that pushes you to face reality, learn discipline and re-organize your life depending on where Saturn has hit you.

There's a entire thread on the effects of Saturn Transits and Saturn returns you can check out: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/009759.html
