Relationships that form during the spring to summer months are more likely to last.Hmm...does Astrology have anything to do with this? IP: Logged |

I don’t think astrology has anything to do with it.The date at which each season begins is different in different countries.IP: Logged |

I've never heard that before, what's the source? It could have something to do with Astrology, considering transits, but that's more for individual experiences than a blanket statement such as "it is better to commit to a relationship during summer months" when there could be some harsh transit going on or anything else. There's a lot of other factors to consider in this case. IP: Logged |

Interesting.I once read that relationships formed during autumn were more likely to last. To be honest I don´t believe either. IP: Logged |

I think one important factor is the placement of the transiting Sun when forming a relationship. It will somehow "colour" the relationship, and the sign's characteristics are likely to be present. I don't have enough personal experience to be absolutely sure - and maybe the whole chart needs to be taken into consideration, or at least the Moon, too - but I have at least 3 examples which reflect that theory: my sister and her boyfriend got together sometime in March and their relationship is very Neptunian - dreamy, compassionate, affectionate; one of my friends got together with her boyfriend in October and theirs is definitely Libra-like.. very "marriage material" and harmonious, long-lasting, too. With my ex we officially got together when the Sun was in Gemini and the relationship was very "airy" - we weren't very close emotionally or spiritually and it didn't last. So moreso than just checking out the season, check the sign of the Sun.

That`s an interesting theory. Never thought about it like that. My parents met at the end of august, so either in Leo or Virgo-time. Both make sense I guess; they both have Virgo-planets (my Dad`s Saturn-ASC is conjunct my Mum`s Venus and Mars in Virg). However their composite ASC is in Leo (conjunct Pluto). my brother and his gf got together officially on 1st april, and esp. in the beginnig their relationship was rather stormy; but settled into more calmness as they moved in togehter, though they quite regularly lock horns still, and do tease and nag each other a lot. Though both are Pisces, my brother has a conjunction of Venus and Mars in Aries; his gf has ASC in Aires and Mercury. Interesting on 1st april Tr Sun is on 11 Aries and their composite ASC is on 10 Aries! IP: Logged |
