ive been googling for this info with no avail.
since most of the literature out there is oriented toward mothers, pregnancy, birth and females...
i would like to know, what are the placements that indicate 'fatherhood'?
in a man's natal chart, what would show that he 'had/will have' a baby?
baby's birth...etcanyone?
thanks. this is an example.
does anybody see fatherhood in the following? and..i must add, any issues as to paternity doubts?
and also, impending marriage?

There's never any absolutes... but the 5th house shows children, [same in a woman's chart]. The jupiter return and saturn return are both indicated in an increased likelihood [timing] to have children. The chart shows there could be a desire to be seen as traditional [cap rising and saturn con mc] but the opposition between the sun in the 5th to uranus in 11th may indicate that your ideals may cnflict with your ability to parent. I have moon opp ur [female] on this axis and my parenting has been hugely unconventional. Your des ruler is in the 9th...is it possible you'll be with someone from another culture? Or at least a very different background to your own? I haven't time to go in to detail but I'd take a risk and say that any issues that arise are likely to result from conflict between tradition and you being yourself. If you decide to not have kids [the chart says you would] you might channel the energy in to creative things. With all that activity in your 5th house ~ I'd say you won;t feel you're on the right track until you create something [or someone]. this makes sense. this is a chart of a man....i talked about this couple in ras' composite thread and, RAS mentioned that she could see a lot of saturn-duty bound activity with the couple.

this is interesting...because, although they are engaged, i fear that...things will explode and maybe, he will not be very involved as a father because of the 'break-up' with the mom and his family.

yep. that is what some of us fear. he is stuck between following tradition and being himself.
and, he does feel a stronger attraction toward someone of a different background, but, that would not be acceptable according to his background, whether he will take the risk, im not sure. quote:

that is interesting. maybe, having the child will help him to grow up? is that what you mean?
because thus far, he seems to be doing what he is told, he is still a boy...not a man. do you see marriage for him, by the way?

I have the Moon/opp/Ur and whilst I can be extremely responsible, I can only parent half of the time, I'm always physically present, but need my head in a book, or I need to be busy working [I write], I can't "just" be a mum. I breastfed all my kids [had lots of them], love being a mum, but I have to be me too. I haven't stayed in a relationship... I needed my freedom [to channel the time in to my work, not because I wanted to sleep around,].Marriage? I'd say he'll find it difficult but not impossible. He needs his personal freedom, and most partners want all energy to stay in the relationship. You said about his attraction to someone would not be tolerated by family ~ that's a shame but their disapproval is unlikely to stop him from being free if he feels he needs to be. the baby's chart has sun trine moon, parents we're getting along at conception... Venus is con Mars ~ can be seen as another indicator of compatibility, Baby has sun conjunct Uranus? That's the father right there! Obviously not all sun con Uranus will grow up with an unpredictable dad but it is one possible manifestation. AN orb of 7 degrees applying would give age 7 for the child for a big change in the relationship... The baby's chart is dominated by Uranus [unpredictability not stability] and with all that fire + Sun, mars + Uranus ~ Saturn won't get a look in lol, tis a chart of a firecracker  IP: Logged |

what i mean is that he has been always been following, and, we've sensed that he still struggles with defining his needs and wants v. tradition.

he has cheated on her, and she has cheated on him...
their composite also shows issues with control too...but,
if they are making it work, good for them.
the times i saw them together....they never ever touched, even when she
was pregnant. i dont know if that is normal, esp. when they were very touchy-feely
back then, but maybe...things change?
